Abstract: Systems, methods, and processing nodes for limiting connection requests from wireless devices instruct certain wireless devices to stop sending connection requests or to turn off a radio of the wireless devices, based on a determination that the wireless device is not authorized to access the wireless network. Thus, resource consumption associated with signaling overhead is minimized.
