Abstract: A structural analysis computing device may generate a proposed insurance claim and/or generate a proposed insurance quote for an object pictured in a three-dimensional (3D) image. The structural analysis computing device may be coupled to a drone configured to capture exterior images of the object. The structural analysis computing device may include a memory, a user interface, an object sensor configured to capture the 3D image, and a processor in communication with the memory and the object sensor. The processor may access the 3D image including the object, and analyze the 3D images to identify features of the object-such as by inputting the 3D image into a trained machine learning or pattern recognition program. The processor may generate a proposed claim form for a damaged object and/or a proposed quote for an uninsured object, and display the form to a user for their review and/or approval.

Abstract: A structural analysis computing device for determining structural characteristics of an object pictured in a three-dimensional (3D) image may be provided. The structural analysis computing device may include a memory, a user interface, an object sensor configured to capture the 3D image of the object, and at least one processor in communication with the memory and the object sensor. The processor may be configured to access the 3D image including the object, automatically determine a first plurality of measurements of the object from the 3D image, and display the 3D image on the user interface. The processor may be further configured to generate a data file including the 3D image and the first plurality of measurements, and store the data file within the memory. The processor may also be configured to transmit the data file to an insurance server computing device for generation of an associated insurance claim form.

Abstract: Methods and systems for generating a damage assessment for a damaged property may be provided. The method may include receiving a damage report from a user associated with the damaged property, presenting an eligibility test to the user, and receiving a response to the eligibility test from the user's mobile device and determining whether the user is eligible based upon the response, such as based upon an amount of vehicle damage. The method may electronically activate a damages module on an application stored on the user's mobile device to generate a damage assessment. Based upon how the user sends the damage report, the system may adjust how and when the damage report is generated. In one aspect, functionality is provided that determines whether a damaged vehicle and/or insured is eligible for online vehicle damage estimation (such as based upon a limited extent of vehicle damage) and/or associated online insurance claim submission.

Abstract: A system and method for processing an insurance claim for damage to a vehicle, home, or other property. Image data of the damaged property may be examined, with an insured's permission or affirmative consent, by a processor using a machine learning technology to determine the amount of damage; determine a repair or replacement cost; generate a proposed insurance claim and initiate processing the insurance claim; and perform additional actions relevant to handling the insurance claim or assisting the claimant. The additional actions may include estimating a repair or replacement cost and time; identifying a repair service; determining an availability of repair parts and appointments; identifying one or more salvage services; identifying settlement options; and identifying temporary replacement property (e.g., rental vehicles or hotel rooms). The processor may receive and account for GPS location of the damaged property or the insured's mobile device, and/or the forecasted weather for that location.
