摘要: An adaptive delta modulation circuit having an analog adaptation circuit and an integrator circuit. The adaptation circuit exponentially converts a voltage which is proportional to the average of a time duration of an overload control signal to an adaptation current which is averaged and converted to an adaptation voltage. An integrator circuit includes a sole switch which shorts to ground a circuit point for generating an analog signal formed of line segments; each segment has a slope magnitude controllable by the adaptation voltage.

摘要: The invention provides a digital automixer system that includes a master processing unit and at least one non-master processing unit that are interconnected. The non-master processing unit obtains a first microphone signal and determines a first basic level measurement and a network submix audio signal. The master processing unit obtains a second microphone signal and determines a second basic level measurement, and obtains the first basic level measurement and the network submix audio signal from the non-master processing unit. The master processing unit further forms a final mix audio signal from the second microphone signal and the network submix audio signal and determines a gating control signal for the digital automixer system. The master processing unit may also delay the second basic level measurement to compensate for a network delay. The invention also provides a digital automixer system that includes a plurality of master processing units.

摘要: A microphone assembly comprising a housing, the housing including an upper lip, a silicon backplate having a top portion, a bottom portion, an annular side portion, a silicon spacer integrally formed with the backplate and comprising at least one protrusion extending from and integral to the top portion of the silicon backplate, the spacer further comprising an insulating layer, such as silicon dioxide or a fluoropolymer. A plurality of openings extend from the top portion of the backplate to the bottom portion of the backplate. A single diaphragm, comprised of metallized polymer film, acts as both a protective environmental barrier and a sensing electrode of a capacitive electroacoustic sensing transducer. A metal ring is positioned against the upper lip of the metal housing. The diaphragm is adhesively affixed to the ring, and the ring, in cooperation with the upper lip and a spring, secure the diaphragm against the insulating layer of the spacer.
