    摘要： A manually actuated dispensing pump has a pump housing for mounting with a closure cap at an upper end of a container for fluent product, the housing having a pump cylinder open at its outer end to atmosphere and providing at its inner end area a pump chamber for a manually reciprocable piston having a resilient piston seal, the cylinder having in its lower area at least one vent port positioned outwardly of the chamber, the piston having a vent seal for closing communication between the open end of the cylinder and the vent port, the piston forming a sub-assembly with the housing upon insertion into the cylinder through the open outer end thereof, and one or more ramps or tapered ribs being provided adjacent the vent port for spacing the piston seal from an inner edge of the vent port permitting the piston seal to by-pass the vent port to avoid any damage of the piston seal upon assembly into the cylinder.

In various embodiments, a valve guide may include a raised boss associated with a grip or body of an aerosol actuator. The valve guide or raised boss may align a manifold with a valve when an aerosol actuator is assembled to a container containing a product. In addition, a valve guide or raised boss may limit the movement of a portion of a manifold in a defined direction or defined plane such that the load on a valve by a manifold is controlled. For example, a valve guide may ensure a top load on a valve during actuation or may minimize side loads on a valve during actuation.

    摘要： In one embodiment of a dispensing system for connecting a remote power sprayer to a container of liquid, a flexible delivery tube includes one end non-removably connected to a remote retainer and the other end non-removably connected to a connector hose. The remote retainer and connector hose each include strain relief elements which respectively include a retainer adaptor and a connector adaptor for relieving the connection strain between the tube, the remote retainer and connector hose, as the power sprayer is being pulled and maneuvered during use. In a second embodiment, the flexible delivery tube includes one end non-removably connected to a remote retainer and the other end disposed freely in a container, but plugged onto a connector hose and including a spring weight slidably disposed thereon.
