    Abstract: In one embodiment of a dispensing system for connecting a remote power sprayer to a container of liquid, a flexible delivery tube includes one end non-removably connected to a remote retainer and the other end non-removably connected to a connector hose. The remote retainer and connector hose each include strain relief elements which respectively include a retainer adaptor and a connector adaptor for relieving the connection strain between the tube, the remote retainer and connector hose, as the power sprayer is being pulled and maneuvered during use. In a second embodiment, the flexible delivery tube includes one end non-removably connected to a remote retainer and the other end disposed freely in a container, but plugged onto a connector hose and including a spring weight slidably disposed thereon.

    Abstract: A sprayer assembly for connection to a container of liquid chemical to be sprayed has a manually operable rotary valve mounted within the housing of the assembly and has a carrier liquid duct and a product duct opening into the liquid duct, the valve being selectively rotatable to an ON position in which the carrier liquid inlet passage is connected with the liquid product inlet opening, and the valve being selectively rotatable to an OFF position in which the carrier liquid passage is not connected with the liquid product inlet opening, the housing have a vent port, and an external vent control member mounted on the housing for movement by the valve to close the vent port in the OFF position and to open the vent port in the ON position.

    Abstract: A manually actuated liquid pump sprayer is capable of use in both upright and inverted positions without leakage through the vent port by the provision of an auxiliary inlet passage including an inlet port in the path of a slider valve, and a vent port likewise in the path of a slider valve. The vent port is open while the inlet port is closed while the slider valve in the upright attitude of the sprayer, while the converse is effected by the slider valve when operating the sprayer in an inverted position.
