    摘要: A communication method uses a dual-modem Mobile Equipment (ME) that includes a cellular modem communicable with a cellular system and a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) modem capable of WLAN communication. The method includes registering a Media Access Control (MAC) address of a Terminal Equipment (TE) connected to the cellular modem over a WLAN. The method also includes receiving data from the TE with the registered MAC address at the WLAN modem through a WLAN interface, and transferring the data to the cellular system through the cellular modem. Thus, even a TE with no cellular modem equipped can perform data communication over the cellular network and the pre-registered TE is allowed to transmit and receive data through an ME with a WLAN modem, facilitating efficient use of the limited resources, and the user is allowed to set priorities of TEs, making it possible to ensure QoS of each TE independently.

    摘要: A communication method uses a dual-modem Mobile Equipment (ME) that includes a cellular modem communicable with a cellular system and a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) modem capable of WLAN communication. The method includes registering a Media Access Control (MAC) address of a Terminal Equipment (TE) connected to the cellular modem over a WLAN. The method also includes receiving data from the TE with the registered MAC address at the WLAN modem through a WLAN interface, and transferring the data to the cellular system through the cellular modem.     摘要: Disclosed is a method for setting up a route path between a source node and a destination node through route discovery in a mobile ad hoc network. The source node transmits a RREQ message to the destination node, and the destination node transmits a RREP message to the source node in response to the RREQ. A first intermediate node having failed to transmit the original RREP stores the original RREP, generates a PRREQ message, and transmits the generated PRREQ to neighbor intermediate nodes. If an ID of the PRREQ and an original IP address included in the received PRREQ are identical to an ID and an original IP address of the RREQ received from the source node, a second intermediate node receiving the PRREQ generates a PRREP message corresponding to the PRREQ and transmits the PRREP to the first intermediate node. If a partial route path is set up between the first intermediate node and the second intermediate node as the first intermediate node receives the PRREP, the first intermediate node transmits the original RREP via the partial route path. Then the source node receives the original RREP, and completes setup of the route path.

    摘要: Provided is a method for setting up a route path between source and destination nodes in a mobile ad hoc network. The source node transmits a RREQ message to the destination node, which transmits a RREP message to the source node. A first intermediate node having failed to transmit the original RREP stores the original RREP, and generates and transmits a PRREQ message, to neighbor intermediate nodes. If an ID of the PRREQ and an original IP address included in the received PRREQ are identical to those of the RREQ received from the source node, a second intermediate node receiving the PRREQ generates and transmits a PRREP message corresponding to the PRREQ to the first intermediate node.
