摘要: The present invention discloses a defrost operating method for a refrigerator which performs a defrost operation by controlling operations of a compressor and a fan on the basis of a continuous operation time of the compressor and surface temperatures of evaporators to prevent frost from being formed on the evaporators, when cool air is generated in a freezing chamber and a refrigerating chamber by circulating refrigerants through a refrigeration cycle built in a refrigerator main body and forcibly circulated bX rotating the fan. The defrost operating method for the refrigerator can omit a general defrosting heater by performing the defrost operation by using the compressor and the fan. In addition, the defrost operating method for the refrigerator improves heat exchange efficiency and reduces power consumption by efficiently performing the defrost operation.

The control apparatus for the linear compressor includes a coil winding body laminated on the linear compressor, a first capacitor connected in series to the coil winding body, a capacitance varying unit being formed in a parallel structure to the first capacitor, and having a capacitor switch, and a control unit for inducing an output change of the linear compressor, by varying the whole capacitance of the control apparatus by controlling the capacitor switch.

摘要: The present invention discloses a defrost apparatus of a refrigerator which can defrost an evaporator by a defrost heater, when moisture of the ambient air of the evaporator is frozen on the surface of the evaporator. The defrost apparatus of the refrigerator includes a pair of evaporators and a pair of defrost heaters to selectively defrost the pair of evaporators. A path varying means for guiding air flow is installed near the pair of evaporators. The air is not supplied to the defrosted evaporator, for performing the defrosting operation. The air is supplied to the non-defrosted evaporator, for performing the cooling operation. As a result, the defrosting operation is efficiently performed, and the temperature does not sharply increase in freezing and refrigerating chambers, so that the food can be maintained fresh for an extended period of time.
