    摘要: A stator for use in an electric rotating machine is provided which includes a stator winding wound through slots of a stator core. The stator winding is made up of a plurality of conductor segments connected together. Each of the conductor segments includes an in-slot portion disposed inside one of the slots and out-slot portions extending from the in-slot portion outside at least one of the ends of the stator core. Ends of the out-slot portions are joined together to form the stator winding. The joints of the ends of the out-slot portions have a given pattern of texture formed on surfaces thereof and coated with an insulating material. The pattern of texture enhances the adhesion of the insulating coatings to the surfaces of the joints and ensures the stability in electric insulation of the joints.

    摘要: A base metal composed of a plurality of metallic materials having an oxygen content of 10 ppm is first preheated partly or overall. Then AC (alternating current) current is made to pass through the preheated base metal and an electrode so as to generate an arc for welding the metallic materials. The waveform of the current is changed with time between a peak current value and a base current value excluding a current of zero value only in one of plus and minus polarity sides of the current. A current ratio defined by dividing a current amplitude between the peak and base current values by a current average of the alternating current is a range of 0.5 to 2.0. The alternating current has a frequency of 500 Hz or higher.

    摘要: There is disclosed a method of manufacturing a rotor for a dynamoelectric machine. The rotor includes a rotating shaft, a rotor core fixed on the rotating shaft, and a cooling fan fixed to an axial end face of the rotor core. The method includes the step of fixing the cooling fan to the axial end face of the rotor core by resistance welding. The method is characterized in that in the resistance welding, both a positive electrode and a negative electrode are first brought into contact with the cooling fan to have the cooling fan held between the axial end face of the rotor core and both the positive and negative electrodes, and then weld current is supplied to flow from the positive electrode to the negative electrode.
