Abstract: An enhancement content asset is presented along with an incoming communication alert on a terminating recipient device. An initiation of a communication to a recipient that is sent by a caller at a caller user device is received at the core network of the wireless carrier network. A terminating recipient device for the communication is identified based on a recipient identifier of the recipient included in the initiation of the communication. A reference that enables the terminating recipient device to obtain an enhancement content asset from the wireless carrier network or a third-party content provider is generated, such that a message that includes the reference is sent to the terminating recipient device to trigger presentation of the enhancement content asset along with an incoming communication alert for the communication on a user interface of the terminating recipient device.

Abstract: An enhancement content asset is received at a user device for presentation along with an incoming communication alert for a communication. The communication is initiated on a caller user device and routed to the user device via a wireless carrier network. A determination is made as to whether the enhancement content asset is to be suppressed from presentation on a user interface of the user device based on a configuration rule in a configuration data store of the user device. The enhancement content asset is not presented on the user interface in response to the configuration rule indicating that the enhancement content asset is to be suppressed from presentation on the user interface. Conversely, the enhancement content asset is presented along with the incoming communication alert on the user interface of the user device in response to the configuration rule indicating the enhancement content asset is permitted to be presented.

Abstract: Some users of communications systems and social networks have more influence over other users due to having more contacts and communications with people through the systems and networks. The techniques described herein identify these more influential users. Data from such users is used to provide a scoring metric for each user, and user can be ranked according to the scoring metric. Communications can then be made to a subset of users based on the rankings.

Abstract: Targeted electronic advertising media may be provided to users of user devices that access and seek data resources on the Internet through encrypted data streams across a telecommunication network. When an encrypted data stream is received at a cellular telecommunication network server from a user device resident application requesting access to a data resource on the Internet, a user profile token is created for the user device that at least includes the user device identification data to access the cellular telecommunication network. The user profile token may be provided to one or more advertising servers along with data indicative of the requested Internet data resource to enable an advertising server to identify of the user and send targeted advertising media to the requesting user device.
