Abstract: A belt roller for a safety belt having a belt coil for winding and unwinding the safety belt. The roller includes a lockable locking base which is connected to the belt coil and which is suitable for blocking the belt coil in the event of an abrupt rotation of the belt coil in the belt unwinding direction. The roller also includes a force transmission element which couples the belt coil and the locking base in a locking position and is inactive in an unlocking position. The force transmission element has a base member and a shearing portion which can be sheared off.

Abstract: A belt retractor for a safety belt, having a belt reel for winding or unwinding the safety belt, and a belt force limiting installation which comprises a first and second torsion bar for limiting belt force. The belt retractor has a free-wheeling transmission which operates depending on the rotation angle and which after activation of the belt force limiting installation initially leaves the second torsion bar so as to be inactive, while the first torsion bar for limiting belt force is already being twisted, and the free-wheeling transmission activates the second torsion bar as soon as the free-wheeling transmission has been rotated about a predefined maximum free-wheeling rotation angle.

Abstract: A tensioning drive for a safely belt device. The tensioning drive includes a gas generator, a drive wheel and a supply pipe which connects the gas generator and the drive wheel. A plurality of pushing members is included in the supply pipe. The pushing members are accelerated after the gas generator has been activated. The pushing members drive the drive wheel, and at least one of the pushing members completely or at least partially seals the supply pipe. The sealing action of the at least one sealing pushing member is ended or reduced after a predetermined distance has been travelled.
