Abstract: A suspension system for a vehicle having a longitudinal axis. The vehicle is provided with at least three pair of wheels, at least two of which are tandemly arranged and provided with means for steering. The tandemly arranged wheels are respectively sprung by a leaf spring parallel to the axis. Each leaf spring is located on opposite sides of the axis and nearer to the axis than to the respective wheels.
