    Abstract: A backlight module and a driving method thereof are provided. The driving method includes following steps: first obtaining backlight data with N bits of data corresponding to each backlight unit in a current frame; then dividing time required by each backlight unit in the current frame to obtain N subfields with different durations; and finally outputting the N subfields of each backlight unit in a preset order, and controlling a scan line corresponding to the backlight unit to perform at least two scans in a first subfield, and a time interval between adjacent scans is less than a second threshold.

    Abstract: A timing control (TCON) board and a display device are provided. The TCON board includes a TCON chip and a CB. A plurality of heat dissipating terminals are provided to commonly connect the TCON chip to the CB, increasing a total contact area of the TCON board and the CB. Therefore, heat dissipation efficiency of the TCON chip is improved. At the same time, the heat dissipating terminals greatly reduce a pseudo connection percentage. Hence, heat dissipation performance and electrical performance of the entire TCON chip are avoided to be impacted.

    Abstract: A control method of a time sequential control signal and a driving circuit are provided. A main TCON chip and an assist TCON chip compute corresponding frame rates according to pixel clock signal frequencies, then call a corresponding table, and transmit the table to a first driving unit and a second driving unit respectively. The first driving unit and the second driving unit respectively perform scanning on rows and columns of pixels to allow complicated dynamic images to be displayed with smooth motions.

    Abstract: A method of V-By-One (VBO) signal processing for saving hardware resources, and a device and terminal thereof are provided. The method includes steps of: obtaining a plurality of VBO signals transmitted through data lanes respectively and having a same descrambling reset flag; resolving each of the VBO signals to obtain a valid data strobe signal; selecting one valid data strobe signal as a synchronization strobe signal and performing time-delay processing to obtain a delay strobe signal; and writing signals alternately into a first register and a second register under control of the synchronization strobe signal and reading signals alternately from the second register and the first register under control of the delay strobe signal based on the same descrambling reset flag.

    Abstract: A display device and a controlling method thereof are provided. The display device includes a display panel, a backlight unit, and a time schedule controller. The display panel is configured to display images. Areas where afterimages of dynamic images occur are identified according to comparison results of dither values. Tailing phenomenon of the dynamic images may be relieved by transmitting backlight data without brightness to a second backlight sub-area corresponding to where the afterimages occur. Furthermore, because frequency multiplication is not applied, risks of display instability will not increase.

The timing controller includes a storage control module and a frame buffer module connected to each other, and a self-refresh interface connected to the front-end system chip. When the front-end system chip displays a static screen image, the timing controller provided by the present invention can only maintain internal essential modules working and suspend other modules on standby, which reduces power consumption of the timing controller and enhances an operation life of the display device with the timing controller.
