摘要: Method and a device for the optical in ovo sex determination of fertilized and incubated birds' eggs. The method includes monitoring formation of at least one identifiable blood vessel, creating a hole in the shell of the egg, finding and irradiating the blood vessel with at least one laser beam source emitting an excitation wavelength, recording backscatter radiation of the irradiated blood vessel and evaluating backscatter radiation from recorded spectral intensity of fluorescence radiation in a spectral range redshifted to an excitation wavelength. Sex-specific properties of male and female blood are contained in the intensity and spectral profile of the recorded fluorescence radiation. where intensity levels for male blood has an evaluable value distinct from that of female blood. Further, determining the sex of the bird egg from difference values of the fluorescence intensity and displaying the sex determined for the embryo in the egg.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for classifying spectra of objects having complex information content after recording of the spectra involving the use of a method for preprocessing data and of a method, associated with the data preprocessing, for classification with the calculation of a classifier. After the recording of the spectra and the preprocessing of the spectra, a multiple classification method is thereby performed with at least two different methods for the data preprocessing of the spectra and the method, assigned to the respective data preprocessing, for classification. After the recording and the data preprocessing of the spectra, the following steps are thereby carried out: a calculation of multiple classifiers of the series per type of data preprocessing; a determination of the classifiers of the series with iterative adjustment and validation; a calculation of probabilities of the class association, with all classifiers of the series or classifiers being equally incorporated into the determination of a classification result.

摘要: To determine the sex of a bird egg, a hole is produced at the blunt end of the bird egg, wherein the hole affects the calcareous shell and the outer shell membrane, whereas the inner shell membrane remains intact. In the region of the hole at the blunt end, beneath the intact inner shell membrane, at least one blood vessel is registered and the blood therein is excited by means of a preset incident radiation, the back-scattered radiation of which blood is measured, detected and evaluated for the sex determination.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for the Raman spectroscopic, in ovo sex determination of fertilised and hatched birds' eggs (1), wherein the embryo, including the extra-embryonic structures, can move in the egg, and is not yet attached to the shell at the time of measuring. In addition, the following steps are carried out: monitoring the time course of the hatched egg until forming at least one recognisable blood vessel (21); creating a hole (2) in the shell in the region near to the attached bloody vessel, using a hole-generating unit; finding the blood vessel forming in the egg, using a vision system (19, 13) and a coaxial or lateral illumination with light (10a) in the visible wavelength range; positioning at least one blood vessel in the laser focus of a laser source (3), either by moving the egg or moving a lens (6) of a device (5) for introducing the laser light (3a), and detecting the Raman scattered radiation (7); registering the Raman scattered radiation of the irradiated blood vessel using the device for introducing the laser light, and for detecting the Raman scattered radiation, wherein, during the measuring process, a movement of the blood vessel out of the focus can be avoided by tracking using the vision system; evaluating the Raman scattered radiation in an evaluation unit; determining and displaying the sex of the embryo in the bird's egg.
