    Abstract: A robotic garden tool may include a sensor configured to receive a wireless signal from a docking station. The robotic garden tool may also include an electronic processor configured to control the robotic garden tool to move toward the docking station by controlling the robotic garden tool to move in a first approximately straight line, and repeatedly determining a strength of the wireless signal. In response to determining that the strength of the wireless signal has begun decreasing as the robotic garden tool continues to move in the first approximately straight line, the electronic processor may control the robotic garden tool to stop moving in the first approximately straight line and turn to move in a predetermined manner to move in a second approximately straight line such that the robotic garden tool continues to move toward the docking station.

    Abstract: A theft prevention system includes a robotic garden tool that includes a housing, and a set of wheels coupled to the housing and configured to rotate to propel the robotic garden tool on an operating surface. The robotic garden tool further includes at least one wheel motor coupled to one or more wheels of the set of wheels to drive rotation of the one or more wheels. The robotic garden tool further include a first electronic processor configured to detect a potential theft event associated with the robotic garden tool. The first electronic processor may be further configured to engage in an anti-theft action in response to detecting the potential theft event. The anti-theft action may include ceasing at least one operation of the robotic garden tool until the first electronic processor receives a code indicating that the potential theft event should be ignored.
