    摘要: Systems and methods relating to transmit power control are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a radio access node for providing transmit power control commands to a wireless device for uplink (UL) transmission on a cell that operates in an unlicensed frequency spectrum is provided. The method comprises indicating, for the cell that operates in the unlicensed frequency spectrum, a dynamic Transmit Power Control (TPC) command using a downlink (DL) control channel which indicates a DL-UL allocation of upcoming subframes in the cell that operates in the unlicensed frequency spectrum. In some embodiments, the DL control channel is a common DL control channel. In some other embodiments, the DL channel is a common Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH).

    摘要: Systems and methods are described herein relating to preemptive retransmission of a transport block in successive subframes on, e.g., a Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) cell. Embodiments of a method of operation of a radio node of a cellular communications network are disclosed. The radio node serves an LBT cell. In some embodiments, the method of operation of the radio node comprises transmitting a transport block in a first subframe on the LBT cell and retransmitting the transport block in a second subframe (e.g., on the LBT cell), where the second subframe is adjacent, in time, to the first subframe. In embodiments in which the retransmission of the transport block is on the LBT cell (or another LBT cell), the time span of a transmission burst can be extended to a maximum allowed burst duration.

    摘要: According to some embodiments, a method for use in a frequency-hopping wireless transmitter for transmitting in unlicensed spectrum comprises: obtaining a configuration for a plurality of frequency channels in unlicensed spectrum; and transmitting a data transmission according to a frequency-hopping pattern across the plurality of frequency channels. The configuration for the plurality of frequency channels comprises a first subset of frequency channels for downlink transmission and a second subset of frequency channels for uplink transmission. The frequency channels in the first and second subsets are mutually exclusive. In some embodiments the first and second subset of frequency channels each comprise 160 frequency channels in the 2.4 GHz band, or 50 frequency channels in the 915 MHz band.

    摘要: Systems and methods relating to Listen before Talk (LBT) procedures suitable for, e.g., License Assisted Access (LAA) to an unlicensed frequency spectrum or Long Term Evolution Unlicensed (LTE-U) are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a node of a cellular communications network comprises performing a LBT procedure for an observed channel in an unlicensed frequency spectrum. The LBT procedure defers at least one Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) slot such that the LBT procedure concludes at or near a desired starting point for a transmission. The at least one CCA slot comprises at least one of a first CCA slot of the LBT procedure, one or more intermediate CCA slots of the LBT procedure, and a final CCA slot of the LBT procedure. The method further comprises performing the transmission on the observed channel upon completion of the LBT procedure.

    摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed that relate to management of uplink (UL) transmissions in unlicensed spectrum. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a network node in a wireless communication network comprises signaling, to a wireless device, an indication of one or more allocated sets of Resource Blocks (RBs) that are allocated to the wireless device by a UL grant for transmission on a UL carrier in an unlicensed frequency spectrum. The one or more allocated sets of RBs are one or more of a plurality of defined sets of RBs that correspond to a plurality of interlaces, respectively, that each spread out across an entire bandwidth of the UL carrier. In this manner, higher UL user and system performance can be obtained.
