Abstract: A method of porting a first application, corresponding to a third-party development tool, into a second application, corresponding to a sub-application that depends on a parent application to run, is performed by an electronic device. The device exports the code resource to the development tool of the sub-application. The device also performs secondary development on the design resource and the code resource in the development tool of the sub-application.

Abstract: A system may detect a quit operation corresponding to a child application. In response to detection the quit operation, the system may store, in a memory, a mapping between the child application identifier and the child application task, and suspend display of the child application. The system may generate a foreground and background switching entry corresponding to the child application, the foreground and background switching entry associated with the child application identifier. The system may display the foreground and background switching entry in a visible region of the graphical user interface generated based on a parent application. The system may detect a selection operation indicative of the foreground and background switching entry. In response to the selection operation, the system may obtain the child application task from the memory according to the child application identifier, and resume display of the child application based on the child application task.

Abstract: A computer device receives a session message in a group session on a social networking application. The session message includes a child application identifier corresponding to a child application. The device determines a session identifier corresponding to the group session to which the session message belongs. The device transmits the session identifier to the child application and receives from the child application a request for page data corresponding to the session identifier. In accordance with the request, the device obtains the page data corresponding to the child application identifier. The device renders a child application page in a child application according to the obtained data. In accordance with detecting a trigger event corresponding to the child application identifier on the session message, the device invokes the child application in the social networking application.
