Abstract:
A heat-resistant release liner for use on pressure-sensitive adhesives and which comprises an externally situated silicone release layer (SR); a layer system (POL) comprising, in each of its layers, based in each case on the total weight of the layer, a total of at least 50% by weight of one or more polyolefins, where the layer system (POL) comprises, based on the total weight of the layer system (POL), at least 60% by weight of polypropylene; and an externally situated layer (PER) comprising, based on the total weight of the layer (PER), at least 80% by weight of polyethylene, where an adhesive bonds the layer (PER) to the next subsequent layer in the structure of the release liner.
Abstract:
Rolls for use in coating plants and processes for preparing said rolls is disclosed. The rolls and processes comprise at least: a) providing a coating plant with a roll having a lateral face intended for contact with a substrate to be coated; b) producing or providing an adhesive tape comprising i) a carrier layer consisting at least partly of ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, and ii) an adhesive layer disposed on the carrier layer and consisting at least partly of a silicone adhesive; and c) adhering the adhesive tape to the lateral face of the roll by means of the adhesive layer to give or provide a prepared roll.
Abstract:
Adhesive tape, in particular for wrapping elongated material such as cable harnesses in an automobile, comprising a carrier material that is provided at least on one side with an adhesive coating, characterized in that the carrier material comprises at least one layer containing at least 75 wt. % of polylactic acid (PLA), wherein the PLA contains a physical blend of at least two PLA polymers, i.e. at least one PLA polymer A and one PLA polymer B, wherein at least 80% of PLA polymer A is produced from 80% D,D-lactide and at least 80% of PLA polymer B is produced from 80% L,L-lactide, and wherein the ratio of D-lactic acid to L-lactic acid in the PLA blend is between 0.4:0.6 and 0.6:0.4.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a film laminate which is formed and designed to be separated after permanent adhesive bonding, comprising the following layers: a) a first adhesive compound layer, preferably a contact adhesive layer, b) a first support material, preferably in the form of a film, c) a separating layer, d) optionally a second support material, preferably in the form of a film, e) a second adhesive compound layer, preferably a contact adhesive layer, characterised in that the separating layer—has a thickness of 40 nm to 500 nm,—is black,—has a maximum transmittance of 30%,—consists of a metal which can be at least partially removed by laser radiation, the second adhesive compound layer being translucent to laser beams and/or the first adhesive compound layer and the first support material being translucent to laser beams.
