Abstract:
A probe for measuring a local angle of attack designed to be fixed to a wall and a method implementing the probe are provided. The probe comprises at least three pressure sampling ports disposed over a nose of the probe body, pressure measurement means associated with the pressure sampling ports and calculation means capable of determining an angle of attack of the flow with respect to the main direction of the probe body as a function of the pressures measured by the pressure measurement means. The calculation means are configured for choosing from amongst the pressure sampling ports those allowing the best measurement precision of the local angle of attack to be obtained and for calculating the local angle of attack with respect to the main direction using the pressure measurements carried out in the chosen pressure sampling ports.
Abstract:
A multifunction probe for primary references for an aircraft, an associated measuring system, aircraft and method for obtaining physical quantities are disclosed. In one aspect, the multifunction probe includes a base designed to be fastened on the cockpit of an aircraft, a plurality of static pressure taps arranged through the base and connected to pressure measuring devices and an optical window transparent to laser radiation and positioned in the base for the passage of laser radiation through the base. The multifunction probe further includes at least one laser anemometry optical head positioned to take laser anemometry measurements through the optical window and a static temperature probe mounted on the base.
Abstract:
A probe system, mixed primary reference probe for an aircraft, associated aircraft and measuring method are disclosed. In one aspect, the probe system includes a base designed to be fastened on the cockpit of an aircraft, a plurality of regularly spaced static pressure taps, arranged through the base and designed to be connected to a pressure measurement device. The system includes at least one optical window transparent to laser radiation and inserted into the base.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an aircraft including a fuselage and a first measuring probe including means for measuring the local incidence, means for measuring the static pressure, and optionally means for measuring the total pressure. The fuselage includes at least one first zone where the pressure coefficient of the aircraft depends on the unique local incidence irrespective of the sideslip and incidence values of the aircraft, and the first measuring probe is arranged in said first zone
Abstract:
A probe for measuring the total pressure of an airflow is intended to equip an aircraft and a method of using the probe. The probe comprises a Pitot tube, two separate heating wires supplied separately and allowing each one to heat an external part of the probe, and means of distribution of a given maximum power to each of the two heating wires as a function of the current temperature of each of the two parts. A method consists in giving priority to the reaching of a predefined minimum temperature of a first of the two parts of the probe by allocating to the first part of the probe a predefined share of the given maximum power for as long as the temperature of the first part is below a predefined minimum temperature.
