Abstract: A fuselage is described that includes a plurality of frames and a plurality of seat rows spaced apart according to a seat pitch. Each frame includes a lateral floor beam, and each seat row of the plurality of seat rows includes a load-bearing structural base with a plurality of legs attached to a proximal lateral floor beam and a distal lateral floor beam. Each seat row also includes a seat or bank of seats attached to the load-bearing structural base, where the seat or bank of seats includes at least one seat bottom and at least one seat back. Further, each seat row includes an interface between (i) the load-bearing structural base and (ii) the seat or bank of seats to allow for attachment and detachment of the seat or bank of seats relative to the load-bearing structural base.

Abstract: A headrest ventilation assembly is configured to secure to a headrest of a seat assembly, and includes an air conduit including one or more air inlets and one or more air outlets, and an air filter disposed within the air conduit between the one or more air inlets and the one or more air outlets. The air filter is configured to remove contaminants from the air that is drawn into the air conduit before being delivered out of the one or more air outlets. The assembly can also include a fan disposed on or within the air conduit. The fan is configured to draw the air into the one or more air inlets and provide airflow to deliver the air out of the one or more air outlets. The assembly can also include one or more ultraviolet (UV) light emitters disposed on or within the air conduit. The UV light emitter(s) are configured to emit UV light into the air to sanitize the air before the air is delivered out of the one or more air outlets.

The apparatus includes a contaminant conditioning system that delivers purified air to a first and a second laminar flow generator. Each laminar flow generator produces a respective laminar flow that combines to form and fill a breathing space with purified air that envelopes an inhalation sphere of the occupant and inhibits air other than the purified air from entering the breathing space.

Abstract: A distributed digital projection system is disclosed which includes a plurality of smart projectors coupled to a head end server computer via a network. Each smart projector has a first network interface coupled to the network. Each smart projector is configured to receive commands and digital content, to process the received commands, and to convert the received digital content into a projection light signal for output. Each smart projector may include a second network interface to allow a daisy-chain network configuration. The head end server computer is configured to issue commands and to forward digital content to each of the at least one smart projectors, the commands specifying at least a time for display of the digital content. The digital content is stored on either network attached storage device coupled to the network or on a storage device directly coupled to or integrated with the head end server computer.
