Abstract: An information intermediating apparatus in an information transaction system including an information providing apparatus, an information acquiring apparatus and the information intermediating apparatus connected to a communication network, includes: a first receiver that receives second information, of first and second information necessary for restoring transaction object information, and first feature information indicating a feature of the first information; a second receiver that receives second feature information from the information acquiring apparatus, the second feature information being calculated from the first information transmitted to the information acquiring apparatus from the information providing apparatus; a feature information determination unit that determines whether an identity is present between the first feature information and the second feature information; and a transmitter that transmits the second information to the information acquiring apparatus, when the feature information determination unit determines that the identity is present between the first feature information and the second feature information.

The information processing system carries out a restoring process on at least one of the multiple node groups, and if the restoring results in failure, carries out the restoring process on a second node group associated with a time point before a time point associated with the first node group that causes the failure among the plurality of node groups.

Abstract: An image processing device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires a probability distribution of luminance of a pixel in a plurality of perspective images including the luminance of the pixel which is superposition of luminance components resulting from respective objects, based on an occurrence frequency of a perspective image in which the luminance of the pixel has respective values of a plurality of values; a distribution estimation unit that estimates a mixture distribution indicating the acquired probability distribution; a component estimation unit that estimates a component corresponding to a smallest expectation value distribution of which an expectation value is the smallest among a plurality of partial distributions that form the estimated mixture distribution, and forming at least a portion of the luminance of the pixel; a removal unit that removes the estimated component from the luminance of the pixel included in the perspective image.
