Abstract: The anti-counterfeiting structure includes an allochroic part having a characteristic of changing from a first material to a second material in response to laser irradiation, the allochroic part including a discolored part consisting only of the second material and having first information, and a foamable member having a characteristic of changing from an unfoamed state to a foamed state in response to laser irradiation, the foamable member including a foamed part that contains second information, the second information being associated with the first information and constituting, together with the first information, an information group unique to the anti-counterfeiting structure. At least a part of the discolored part does not overlap with the foamed part in a plan view of the discolored part and the foamed part.

Abstract: A prism layer has an uneven surface that includes at least one display region. An interface layer is adjacent to the uneven surface. The interface layer has a difference in refractive index from the prism layer such that a refractive index of a side of an interface between the uneven surface and the interface layer at which the prism layer is located is higher than a refractive index of a side of the interface at which the light interference layer is located. The display region includes inclination elements. The inclination elements adjacent to each other in an array direction contact each other in a plan view facing a plane along which the prism layer expands. The inclination elements include first inclination elements among which the inclination angle increases by the even angles along the array direction.

Abstract: An anti-counterfeiting structure includes a substrate having a surface, and an device structure positioned on the surface. A side opposite to the side on which the substrate is positioned with respect to the device structure is an observation side, and the device structure comprises an optical device layer that emits predetermined light towards the observation side, and an information portion that contains given information. The information portion comprises a first substance having optical transparency, wherein the first substance is changeable to a second substance having a different optical characteristic from the first substance by laser irradiation, and the second substance representing information. The device structure has a display surface that is a surface opposite to the surface on which a surface of the substrate, and is configured so as to display information contained in the information portion via the display surface.

Abstract: The anti-counterfeiting structure includes an allochroic layer including an allochroic part having a characteristic of changing from a first material to a second material in response to laser irradiation, a first layer transmissible to a laser beam, a second layer transmissible to the laser beam, at least a part of the second layer being located between the allochroic layer and the first layer, and a coating layer transmissible to the laser beam and covering at least the first layer. The coating layer and the first layer are bonded together more weakly than the first layer and the second layer are. One of the first layer and the second layer is a foamable layer having a characteristic of changing from an unfoamed state to a foamed state in response to laser irradiation, while the other of the first layer and the second layer is an optical device.
