摘要： Collagen fiber-like synthetic superfine filament bundles are prepared through a process in which an ''''islands-in-a-sea'''' type composite filament is formed from a sea constituent polymeric material and an island constituent polymeric composition consisting of at least two polymers different from each other, at least one of which has a content of 7 to 93 percent based on the composition, the sea constituent is removed for obtaining a bundle of island constituent superfine filaments and then at least one polymer in the resultant superfine filaments is removed in order to obtain the collagen fiber-like synthetic superfine filament bundles.

摘要： A needle, needle punching machine and process are provided for producing a needle felted fabric that is useful for producing artificial leather. In the needled fabric some of the fibers are displaced by needles and caused to penetrate through others of the fibers; at least 60 percent of the fibers which penetrate do so either individually or as a group of 2 or 3 fibers.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a fibrous sheet including an application of a locational cutting operation to one or more superimposed fibrous webby masses at a stage preceding the usual needle punching operation thereon and a fibrous sheet manufactured thereby having an internal configuration wherein numerous fine fibers are three-dimensionally entangled with each other. The known islands-in-a-sea type synthetic filaments are advantageously used in the formation of the fibrous webby masses with later elimination of the sea component.
