摘要： A commodity-data processing apparatus includes a housing, a printer unit mounted in the housing and movable between a housed position at which the printer unit fits in a printer housing space and a drawn-out position, and a controller. The printer unit includes a cover that is movable between a closed position and an open position when the printer unit is at the drawn-out position and not movable between the closed position and the open position when the printer unit is at the housed position. The controller is configured to determine whether the cover is moved from the open position to the closed position, determine whether or not the printer unit is ready for printing, upon determining that the cover is moved from the open position to the closed position, and enable receipt printing by the printing unit, upon determining that the printer unit is ready for printing.

摘要： A registration apparatus includes a scanner configured to optically read a product code from a product, a communication interface configured to communicate with one or more payment apparatuses associated with the registration apparatus, a display, and a processor. The processor is configured to control the communication interface to transmit registration data including data of one or more product codes read through the scanner for a transaction to a selected one of the one or more payment apparatuses, for processing payment for one or more products registered by the registration apparatus. The processor is also configured to control the display to display a monitoring screen indicating an operational state of a checkout process carried out by the selected one of the one or more payment apparatuses to which the registration data has been transmitted, based on information received from the selected one of the one or more payment apparatuses.

摘要： A register apparatus includes a scanner, an operation panel, a status indicator, and a processor. The processor is configured to process a product code of a product for a transaction obtained through the scanner or the operation panel, to determine whether or not the product code is associated with a predetermined sales restriction and whether or not sale is allowed for the product. The processor is also configured to control the status indicator to perform a first indication when the product code is determined to be not associated with the predetermined sales restriction, a second indication when the product code is determined to be associated with the predetermined sales restriction and sales is determined to be allowed for the transaction, and a third indication when the product code is determined to be associated with the predetermined sales restriction and sales is determined to be not allowed for the transaction.
