Abstract: An information providing system includes a server and an onboard device configured to transmit and receive information to and from the server. The onboard device includes an imaging unit configured to capture an image around a vehicle and a first transmission unit configured to transmit position information and captured image data to the server. The server includes a removal state information generating unit configured to generate removal state information including a predicted time which is required to remove the road obstacle based on the captured image data and a second transmission unit configured to transmit the removal state information. The removal state information which is transmitted from the server is output in another onboard device.

Abstract: An information provision system has a vehicle-mounted device, server, and mobile terminal, which send and receive information to and from one another. The vehicle-mounted device has an imaging unit that images a vicinity of a vehicle, and a first transmitting unit that sends position information, vehicle condition information, and captured image data, to the server. The server has a dangerous spot information creating unit that creates dangerous spot information having a danger level and associated with position information, based on the vehicle condition information and captured image data, and a second transmitting unit that sends the dangerous spot information to the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal has a third transmitting unit that sends position information to the server, a receiving unit that receives the dangerous point information corresponding to the position information of the mobile terminal, and an output unit that outputs a warning based on the dangerous spot information.

Abstract: An information providing system includes an onboard device and a server that transmits information to and receives information from the onboard device. The onboard device includes a condition setting unit that acquires a destination and an output mode and transmits the acquired destination and the acquired output mode to the server. The onboard device further includes an output unit that outputs parking lot recommendation information which is received from the server. The server includes a storage unit that stores parking lot information including position information of parking lots and parking fees which are detected from a captured image of the parking lots. The server further includes an information providing unit that prioritizes parking lots which are located within a predetermined range from the destination based on the output mode provides the parking lot information of the prioritized parking lots as the parking lot recommendation information to the onboard device.
