Abstract: A stator for an electric motor may include a back iron having a cylindrical shape and extending along an axial direction; a plurality of teeth provided on an inner circumferential surface of the back iron; and a stator coil provided on the plurality of teeth. The back iron may be provided with a coolant passage extending along the axial direction to a first end face of the back iron. The coolant passage may include a first section extending from the first end face and a second section adjacent to the first section. A dimension of the first section of the coolant passage in a radial direction of the stator may be different from a dimension of the second section of the coolant passage in the radial direction.
