摘要: An image recording device for a vehicle includes: an image acquisition section configured to acquire a surroundings image in which vehicle surroundings have been captured; an image display section configured to display an overlaid image in a display region inside a vehicle cabin in a case in which a predetermined assisted driving condition has been satisfied, the overlaid image being configured by an assistance image overlaid on the surroundings image acquired by the image acquisition section; and an image recording section configured to record the overlaid image at a recording section during an assisted driving state in which the overlaid image is being displayed in the display region, and, in a case in which the assisted driving state is not in effect, record at the recording section an image that has been subjected to image processing including processing to render a state in which the assistance image is not visible.

摘要: In a state in which a side mirror of a vehicle is disposed at a closed position, an image capture deficiency range of the periphery of the vehicle cannot be imaged. The side mirror is rotated from the closed position to an open position when, in the state in which the side mirror is disposed at the closed position, a controller determines that a nearby object that is proximate to the vehicle is entering the image capture deficiency range. The controller makes this determination when the nearby object is not located in an imaging range according to the imaging section but is located in a detection range according to a clearance sonar.

摘要: The driving support system includes an imaging section installed to a vehicle capable of executing a driving support state, and the imaging section being capable of imaging a imaging subject positioned in surroundings of the vehicle, and a processor connected to the imaging section. The processor is configured to generate image data, determine whether or not a predetermined recording condition has been satisfied, cause the image data to be recorded in the memory in cases in which the recording condition has been determined to have been satisfied, determine whether or not the vehicle is in any of the driving support states, and change the recording condition to a specific recording condition that is the recording condition corresponding to the driving support state of the vehicle in cases in which the vehicle has been determined to be in any of the driving support states.

摘要: A vehicle periphery monitoring device stores images photographed with a front camera, a rear camera, a left side camera, and a right side camera as a past front image, a past rear image, a past left side image, and a past right side image, respectively. When a vehicle travels while making a turn, the vehicle periphery monitoring device generates an underfloor image indicating a condition of an underfloor of the vehicle using at least one of the past front image and the past rear image and at least one of the past left side image and the past right side image. The vehicle periphery monitoring device displays the generated underfloor image on a display.
