Abstract:
A bending machine with a bending information display apparatus has a machine frame, a longitudinally extended, fixed machine table, and a longitudinally extended press beam. The longitudinal expanse and the press beam movement direction define a working plane. An insertion plane essentially normal to the working plane is defined by an upper machine table flat side or a lower tool disposed thereon. The working plane establishes a front working and manipulation space and a closed rear machine space. A projector disposed above the insertion plane in the rear machine space has a light beam path directed away from the insertion plane. A reflector disposed in the working and manipulation space has a first reflective surface pivotable by an angle to the horizontal so that a light beam incident from the projector beam path leaves the first reflective surface as a departing light beam toward the insertion plane.

The invention relates to a lower tool (1) having a longitudinal-offset measuring device (2), which lower tool (1) is part of a bending tool arrangement for use in a bending press. The lower tool (1) has a tool body (3) having a longitudinal extension (4), in which longitudinal extension (4) a bending recess (5) is provided. The bending recess (5) extends from an upper flat side (6) of the tool body (3) into the latter and is formed at least by two contact surfaces (7). The transition from the upper flat side (6) into the bending recess (5) forms a contact edge (8), which contact edge (8) forms a contact line (9) in the longitudinal extension (4). A sensor (10) for determining a longitudinal offset (18) is arranged in the region of the contact line (9), wherein a sensing portion (11) of the sensor (10) is oriented in the direction of a metal sheet (16) to be bent.

Abstract:
A back gauge for a back gauge positioning system of a bending machine includes a stop finger on which at least one stop surface is configured, and a base unit that is configured for coupling with the back gauge positioning system. The stop finger is coupled with the base unit by a linear guide, and the stop finger can be displaced relative to the base unit between a pushed-forward working position and a retracted position. The stop finger and the base unit are coupled with a first spring element, by which the stop finger is pre-loaded into its working position, and a locking device is configured, by which the stop finger can optionally be locked in the working position or is released into its retracted position for displacement counter to the spring force of the first spring element.
Abstract:
A bending machine has a work area image capture apparatus. A longitudinal expanse and the movement direction of the press beam define a working plane, which establishes a front working and manipulation space and a rear machine space, which is distinguished from the former and, in particular, closed off. An image capture apparatus is disposed in the working and manipulation space above the machine table, in a center section of the longitudinal expanse of the press beam, which apparatus is connected with a display, which is configured for representation of the captured image of the capture region. The image capture apparatus is disposed in a press beam casing, and has two image capture devices, wherein each image capture device captures a partial section in the direction of the machine table.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a rear stop unit (7) with a stop and/or gripping and/or measuring element (10) for positioning a sheet (3) to be machined on a bending press. The stop and/or gripping and/or measuring element (10) is arranged on an adjustable bearing arm (13) by means of a pivot joint (12). The bearing arm (13) is connected to a guide rail (20) by means of an additional pivot joint (18) via a guide element (19). The rear stop unit (7) further comprises a support arm (21) which is connected to the bearing arm (13) via a joint (22) and to an additional guide element (24) via a rigid connection, and the support arm is connected to the guide rail (20) via the additional guide element. Furthermore, the joint (22) is designed as a rotational/prismatic joint. The position of the bearing arm (13) can thereby be adjusted by moving the support arm (21) in a linear manner along a guide direction (11) specified by the guide rail (20).

A press brake for bending workpieces includes: a fixed table beam with a lower tool holder, a displaceable press beam with an upper tool holder, wherein the press beam is formed so as to be displaceable relative to the table beam, and a graphic display for displaying information. In the displaceable press beam, a recess is formed, in which the graphic display is accommodated, wherein the graphic display has a display height and a display width.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a workpiece processing machine (1), and to a method for operation of a workpiece processing machine (1). The workpiece processing machine (1) comprises an automatically adjustable stop finger (17), and has, for monitoring adjustment movements of the stop finger (17), a monitoring device (36, 37, 38) that comprises an illuminating device (36) and at least one optical detection device (37). In operation of the workpiece processing machine (1), during an automatically controlled adjustment movement of the stop finger (17), a light beam (38) is radiated into an area ahead of the stop finger (17) in the adjustment direction. Upon detection of a first light image (43) projected onto an object surface (42) by the first light beam (38), a safety measure is triggered.
