An image forming apparatus is provided with an interface connected to a network so as to send or receive data; a memory to store a resident communication program to communicate with another image forming apparatus through the network, wherein the resident communication program establishes channel information regarding data communication among a plurality of image forming apparatus connected with the network based on data regarding other image forming apparatus sent through the network; a recording device to form an image on a recording medium based on image data; and an overall control device to control overall the image forming apparatus comprising the interface, the memory and the recording device.
Abstract:
There is described an operating information recording method, which makes it easy to grasp the contents of the operations conducted for the apparatus. Such the operating information recording method includes the steps of: storing operating procedure information including consecutive operating information according to an operating procedure against to an apparatus as a procedure in time series; storing operating screen information with respect to consecutive operating screens to be displayed on a display section corresponding to the operating procedure, while correlating the operating screen information with the operating procedure information; and storing output data information with respect to output data, which are outputted form the apparatus operated according to the operating procedure, while correlating the output data information with the operating procedure information and the operating screen information. The apparatus could be an image forming apparatus, and the output data could be image data including thumbnail image data.

An image forming system includes: a print controller which generates image data based on a print job; and an image forming apparatus which controls the print controller and performs a printing operation based on the image data, wherein the image forming apparatus includes: a first interface section which connects with a first line for receiving the image data from the print controller; a second interface which connects with a second line with which a client can connect, the second line for communicating with the print controller; and a control section which executes a first control which, through the first line, executes an initial setting which enables the print controller to be used through the second line, and a second control which executes of the print controller after the initial setting is executed through the second line.

Disclosed is an information processing apparatus in which various kinds of information are processed in either the real time processing mode or the non-real time processing mode. The apparatus includes an operation display section to accept an inputted instruction, an image processing section to apply a processing to image information and a processor provided with a plurality of same cores. The real-time processing unnecessary process that is related to the operation display section, is fixed onto one of the plurality of same cores so that the one of the plurality of same cores is in charge of controlling the real-time processing unnecessary process, while, the real-time processing necessary process that is related to the image processing section, is fixed onto another one of the plurality of same cores so that the other one of the plurality of same cores is in charge of controlling the real-time processing necessary process.

Disclosed an image data recording apparatus including: a memory storage control section to sequentially store inputted image data into a space area of the internal memory, and every time the storing is completed, to sequentially register, in a write list, memory area information about an area to which the image data has been stored, the memory area information including a start address of the area; and a write control section to specify the area in which the inputted image data is stored based on the memory area information, to allow the write section to write the data of the area into the optical recording medium from a head of the optical recording medium, and to write, into the optical recording medium, medium area information which is the memory area information in which the start address on the internal memory is changed to a start address on the optical recording medium.

There is described an apparatus which makes it possible to revise the consecutive operating procedure information to more effective one. The apparatus includes: a first storing section to store a series of operating procedure information against to an apparatus as time sequential operating information; a control section to apply a modification processing to specific data having redundancy and included in the operating procedure information stored in the storing section, so as to generate modified operating procedure information; and a second storing section to store the modified operating procedure information generated by the control section. The modification processing is to correct the specific data having redundancy so as to ban an implementation of a redundant function originally represented by the specific data and/or to erase the specific data having redundancy from the operating procedure information.
