摘要: An annular element is disposed within an outer tubular member of an insulator device in a manner to surround a recessed elastomeric body interposed between the outer tubular member and an inner tubular member. A channel formed in the outer periphery of the annular element is closed by the outer tubular member to define a passage which fluidly intercommunicates chambers defined by the recesses formed in the elastomeric body. The channel is sufficiently long and robust as to ensure the desired vibration damping and working life of the unit.

摘要: A vibration isolating apparatus is mounted on a vehicle body so as to absorb vibrations from a vibration source such as an engine. The apparatus includes a deformable liquid chamber which is divided into small liquid chambers by means of a partition plate. A bore which is formed in the partition plate is opened and closed by means of a valve, whereby the small liquid chambers are communicated with and shut off from each other. As a means for absorbing low-frequency vibrations, an orifice is provided which provides communication between the small liquid chambers. When a high-frequency vibration is generated, the valve is opened, and the bore of the partition plate causes liquid-mass resonance. A part of one of the small liquid chambers is constituted by a diaphragm through which a valve-driving force is transmitted.

摘要: A vibration isolating apparatus is provided with a liquid chamber which is capable of being expanded and contracted for the purpose of absorbing vibrations. The liquid chamber is partitioned into small liquid chambers by a resilient membrane, the chambers being communicated with each other through an orifice. Vibrations are transmitted to the small liquid chambers through a transmission shaft which extends through the resilient membrane and which is slidable relative to the membrane. Accordingly, even when the direction in which vibrations act changes, vibrations applied to one small liquid chamber are reliably transmitted to the other small liquid chamber. Thus, contraction of one small liquid chamber causes the other small liquid chamber to expand, and a liquid is forced to pass through the orifice while generating fluid resistance whereby the vibrations are absorbed.

摘要: A vibration isolating apparatus wherein an inner tube and an outer tube are disposed coaxially or axially parallel with each other, and a pair of liquid chambers are formed in a vibration absorbing resilient member disposed between the inner and outer tubes. The liquid chambers are communicated with each other through a limiting passage. Each of the liquid chambers is divided by a partition having a flow passage, and one wall of each liquid chamber is defined by a flexible membrane which is capable of expanding and contracting the liquid chamber. Accordingly, low-frequency vibrations of relatively large amplitude are damped by virtue of the limiting passage. When high-frequency vibrations of relatively small amplitude occur, the flexible membranes are deformed in response to the rise and fall in internal pressure in the liquid chambers, causing liquid-column resonance to occur at each flow passage, and thus allowing the dynamic scale factor to be lowered.

摘要: A vibration absorbing apparatus disposed between a vibration source and a vibration receiving portion and having a tubular member which is formed such as to pass through an expandable liquid chamber and which is attached to one of the vibration source and the vibration receiving portion. A partitioning plate is secured to the outer periphery of the tubular member such as to divide the liquid chamber into a plurality of liquid sub-chambers. The liquid sub-chambers communicate with each other via an orifice. Accordingly, even if the direction in which vibration acts upon the apparatus is shifted, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of "pinch" between the partitioning plate and the tubular member.
