    摘要: A slide-block-type shaft linear motor platform includes a mover and a stator. An air gap is defined between the mover and the stator. The air gap can communicate with outer side via a fluid inlet space. Accordingly, air convection can take place between the heat source, that is, the winding inside the mover and the outer side. Therefore, the heat generated by the winding can be continuously dissipated to prevent the components from deforming due to the heat. In this case, the precision of operation can be ensured and the performance of the motor will not deteriorate due to the heat.

    摘要: A composite engine block is disclosed including a main frame containing plural cylinder liner receiving cavities interleaved with plural cross walls extending generally perpendicularly between the outer side walls of the main frame and an oil pan adapter or ladder frame forming the lower section of the composite engine block between the main frame and the engine oil pan. Each main frame cross wall is combined with a pair of pillars extending between the upper head engaging surface of the main frame and a crankshaft bearing support located adjacent the lower surface of the engine block, wherein both the cross wall and pillars are shaped to strengthen and rigidify the composite engine block and to facilitate metal casting of the main frame. Size and weight reductions are realized by engine coolant flow paths within the main frame which bring coolant into contact with only the upper portion of each cylinder liner and lubrication flow paths in the main frame which cause the engine lubricant to return from the camshaft to the engine oil pan along a path which includes the space between the lower portions of the respective cylinder liners. Lubrication is supplied to corresponding main and camshaft bearings along single linear supply branches which intersect with a main lubrication rifle arranged parallel to and intermediate the rotational axes of the engine crankshaft and camshaft.

    摘要: A spring clip break-away is used as the upper swivel point on a collar which secures a trolling motor to a retractor mounted on the bow of a fishing boat. The spring clip break-away has at least one spring clip secured to an upper support arm of the retractor with an arcuate section defining a recess for receiving a pin which is rotatably secured to the motor collar. During normal retractor use, the pin is held by the spring clips within the recess. When an unusually large torque is applied to the motor shaft, for example by the motor shaft hitting a submerged log, the motor rotates about a lower swivel point and pulls the pin out of the jaws of the spring clips, thereby allowing the motor and shaft to rotate under the bow and avoid damage to the retractor and the motor. After the log is removed, the pin may be quickly and easily re-positioned in the spring clips to permit immediate use of the retractor and motor.

The improvement comprises an improved mounting for attachment of the panel to the engine compartment. The improved mounting comprises a metallic plate rigidly affixed to a first side of the sidewall and having a portion thereof extending to the vicinity of the opening and a metal leaf rigidly affixed to a second side of the sidewall and having a portion thereof extending to the vicinity of the opening in alignment with and a spaced distance from the extending plate portion, the leaf and the plate defining a mouth for accepting the panel, the spaced distance being smaller than the thickness of the panel thereadjacent. Generally, a plurality of mountings are used along a first edge of the opening and serve to hold a first edge of the panel thereadjacent.

The interior of the cylinder is divided up by a floating piston into a chamber filled with gas and forming a gas sprint and two chambers filled with oil and separated by the piston. The control rod rests against a valve mounted in the piston, that allows the oil to flow from one chamber to the other through a duct. A control system is mounted at the free end of the control rod to open the valve.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is an outboard motor mounting arrangement including first and second links pivotally connected to a bracket adapted to support an outboard motor and pivotally connected to a member adapted to be mounted on a boat hull for pivotal movement of the bracket relative to the member between a storage position and an operating position, and a tension spring which is connected between the links to releasably urge the engine support bracket towards the operating position. The links are arranged so that the support bracket moves substantially vertically during initial movement from the operating position towards the storage position to thereby reduce effort required to raise the outboard motor from the water.In one embodiment, the first link includes a rigid element which at one end is pivotally connected to the bracket and, at the other end, is pivotally connected to a support arm which in turn is pivotally mounted on the member. In another embodiment, the first link includes a rigid element which at one end is pivotally connected to the bracket and the member includes an upstanding flange having an arcuate slot in which the other end of the element is supported for pivotal and arcuate movement relative to the member.

    摘要: An elevator bracket adapted to be mounted upon the transom of a boat for lifting and tilting an outboard motor, including an upright guide member attached to the transom, a column reciprocably carried in the guide member and supporting a motor mounting head, a lift arm having its forward end journaled in the mounting head and extending rearward in engagement beneath a portion of the motor, a fluid-powered cylinder connected to the guide member, the reciprocable piston rod being pivotally connected to the rear portion of the lift arm, and stop guide means, so that actuation of the cylinder initially will lift the column, mounting head, lift arm and motor, without tilting the motor, until the stop means limits the upward movement of the column, and subsequently will swing the lift arm about its hinge connection to tilt the motor forward.
