    摘要: A graphic data management system including a segment table in which several kinds of graphic data placed in a multi-dimensional space are stored correspondingly to graphic element numbers, and an index table in which, for each of the cell numbers provided when the multi-dimensional coordinate system is partitioned into predetermined cells, and all the graphic element numbers at least a part of which included in a cell are stored. The graphic data management system carries out the search, addition and deletion referring to a segment table and the index table. The index table includes a cell pointer table in which pointers indicative of the addresses where the graphic element numbers are stored are listed for each cell number, a cell table in which the graphic element number and concatenation pointers which indicate the storing addresses of the subsequent graphic element numbers are listed as pairs, and a space management pointer indicative of the address of a free space area in the cell table.

    摘要: A motion control apparatus having a control circuit inputted with a current state of an object to be controlled and outputting a motion quantity, includes a first unit for changing the value of a motion quantity by adding a randomly variable quantity to the motion quantity; a second unit for quantifying, by using an evaluation function, the merit of change in the current state of an object caused by application of the changed motion quantity to the object; a third unit for calculating an optimum motion quantity on the basis of the changed motion quantity if the evaluation function value determined by the second unit is "positive", and on the basis of the changed motion quantity multiplied by -1 if the evaluation function value is "negative"; and a fourth unit for correcting the values of transformation parameters of the control circuit so that an output of the control circuit takes a value nearer to the optimum motion quantity calculated by the third unit than the motion quantity now being outputted from the control circuit.

An image transition point of a line is detected and another image transition point of a line that precedes the above line is detected, too. A pattern of image transistion points of the above two lines is extracted based upon the basic pattern. The thus extracted basic patterns are then integrated and are converted into contour coordinates.
