When the apparatus is stopped due to a paper jam and the user pulls out the jammed sheet, the force of the pulling causes rotational shaft 32 to detach from first bearing position 22 and move to second bearing position 23 and driving conveyance roller 12 loses pressure contact with the driven conveyance roller. Therefore, the sheet may be easily pulled out, and the apparatus may be reset for continued use.

    摘要: A magnetic tape reproducing apparatus and method is capable of reliably detecting the leading edge of a program to be reproduced without any malfunction even at the time of a high-speed search. During a 200-times normal speed high-speed search in the reproducing direction of a magnetic tape derived from the drive of a feed reel 14 and a take-up reel 15, a microcomputer 27 applies a brake to both reels in response to the detection of a start ID by a rotary head 11. From this detection of the start ID until the stop of the tape, reel pulses input from sensors 16 and 17 (from the rotation of the reels) are counted. After the tape comes to rest, the tape is compulsority rewound at a lower speed (10-times speed) dependent on the counted number of the pulses. After the completion of the compulsory rewinding, a 10-times speed rewinding follows with the lead edge of the start ID being detected, thereby eliminating an unstable contact condition which may be produced between the rotary head 11 and the magnetic tape 12 immediately after the stoppage of the tape, and presenting a more accurate detection of the start ID.

    摘要: A developing device having a toner carrying member for transporting toner to a photosensitive member, a toner supplying member facing to the toner carrying member with an opening therebetween for supplying toner to the toner carrying member and a seal member for substantially closing a toner path. In the developing device a scraping member is further provided in contact with the toner supplying member to scrape the toner therefrom and an accommodating space is formed by the toner carrying member, toner supplying member, seal member and scraping member. Thus the toner transported by the toner supplying member is accommodated in the accommodating space and then supplied to the toner holding member under pressure accompanied by the increase of the toner accommodated therein, whereby an adequate quantity of toner is supplied for development.
