    摘要: A radio communication apparatus includes antennas, transceiver units respectively connected to the antennas, and a radio control unit that controls the transceiver units, simultaneously inputs same transmission data to the transceiver units, and instructs, every switching cycle of frequency hopping, the transceiver units to start check processing for an idle state of frequency channels. The transceiver units respectively include hopping control units that switch the frequency channels every fixed time in synchronization with a communication partner and control such that each of the transceiver units uses a different frequency at the same hour. When determining that a frequency channel is in an idle state before a predetermined time elapses from the start of the check processing for an idle state, the transceiver units transmit the transmission data to the communication partner using the frequency channel.

    摘要: Even when the timing signal used in the internal circuit is formed from the clock signal by the delay device, a margin to the timing signal is deleted or reduced so that operating frequency is designed as high as possible. A delay device is composed of inverters which are connected in series and time constant circuits connected in parallel with the outputs of the inverters. The time constant circuits include series circuits each having an MOS transistor and a capacitor. The change of the on-state resistance of the MOS transistor is controlled by the voltage control signal of a voltage controlled oscillator. The delay time of the internal delay device is externally controlled so that the delay time of the delay device for generating the timing signal of an internal circuit is changed. The internal circuit can be operated in a normal manner even if the operating frequency is changed to lower than usual.

    摘要: An alternate route to improved multimedia performance without replacing the central processor unit (CPU) is presented, through the utilization of general-purpose components available in a computer. The method relies on the use of integrated circuit memory boards having a data port for directly inputting encoded image signals from an I/O device into the memory. An on-board decoder provided on the IC memory is used to decode the variable-length encoded input signals. This approach enalbes to reduce the computational load on the CPU so that the usual bottleneck which is the slow process of data exchange between the CPU and the memory boards is eliminated. The CPU directly accesses the processed image data in the memory and displays the final image on the monitor. This route to increasing the image processing speed of a computer has considerable merits because it is low cost and is readily applicable to mass-produced IC memories with only a few additional fabrication steps.
