摘要： An electromagnetic relay in which an iron core 2 is fixed to a yoke 3, and one end of the yoke 3 is fixed by press-fitting to a base 4. The base 4 is formed with a yoke-receiving groove 4b into which tongue pieces 3e, 3e at one end of the yoke 3 are press-fitted, and a cutout groove 4c into which a head portion 2c of the iron core 2 is received. The yoke 3 is formed with a seal projection 3f disposed by insertion in an opening end of a cutout groove 4c of the base 4. This construction of the electromagnetic relay eliminates poor operation by preventing metal chips produced during assembly from adhering to electrical contacts of the relay.

The rotational shafts 80 move the cam followers 76 relatively about rotational centers of the rotational shafts 80. The coupling members 79 couple the rotational shafts 80 and the cam followers 76. The shaft support portions rotatably support the rotational shafts 80. The partial cams 88 have a shape that corresponds to a locus of movement of the pair of seal jaws 78 when the pair of seal jaws 78 holds the tubular packaging films. The partial cams 88 make the pair of seal jaws 78 press against each other with the partial cam followers 78a therebetween. The partial cam followers 78a are supported by the pair of seal jaws 78. The partial cam followers 78a engage the corresponding partial cams 88 when the pair of seal jaws 78 holds the tubular packaging film therebetween.

The bag forming device includes a former for bending the film into a tubular form and a former roller for guiding the film to the former. As a former of a different size is installed, depending on the width of the film, the position of the former roller is changed by a former roller discharging mechanism which includes a first mechanism for supporting the former roller and moving it to a plurality of different positions with respect itself and a second mechanism for moving the first mechanism to a plurality of different positions in the same direction.

摘要： A poker is provided to a packaging machine which has a former for bending a film into a tubular form and a chute for guiding articles to be packaged into a bag being made below. The poker includes a driver link which is driven to undergo a reciprocating rotary motion around a fixed axis and a generally L-shaped arm member disposed above and behind the former. A base part of the arm member is rotatably connected with a moving end part of the driver link such that the arm member can undergo a reciprocating rotary motion around a mobile axis of rotation which rotates around the stationary axis of rotation. A connecting mechanism is further provided to coordinate these two rotational motions such that the tip of the arm member distal from its mobile axis of rotation will move along a desired trajectory to reach a desired bottom center part of the chute which is likely to become clogged with the articles dropped thereinto. The connecting mechanism may be formed with a cam-following member attached to a part of the arm member and a cam plate with an elongated opening such that this cam-following member is constrained to move along an arcuate path determined by this elongated opening.

摘要： An elongated web of bag-making material (S) is bent into a tubular form by a former (2), transported along a path (A), is filled with articles (W) and sealed by a transverse sealer (10) transversely to its direction of motion. A pair of seal jaws (20) supported by rotary arms (12) are rotated in mutually opposite directions by a power-communicating mechanism (P) which includes a trajectory-forming mechanism (H) such that the seal jaws (20) will each travel on a generally D-shaped trajectory with a linear section along the path (A) of the bag-making material (S). Cramming devices (50) are adjustably attached to the rotary arms (12) and stroke the tubularly shaped bag-making material (S) from both sides in forward-backward direction (X) without substantially closing the bag being formed such that the articles (W) can be more efficiently crammed with empty spaces among them effectively reduced. Stripping rods (42) are attached to the seal jaws (20) for stripping down the articles being dropped into the bag immediately before the transverse sealing and after the cramming by the cramming devices (50) so as to prevent them from becoming caught between the seal jaws (20).

摘要： A video signal recording system is provided in which the number of horizontal scanning lines of a high-definition television system video signal is converted to be M times as large as the number of horizontal scanning lines of an ordinary television video signal. The converted video signal is divided into M vertical sections and N horizontal sections so that M.times.N sections of the divided video signal are separately recorded onto M.times.N recording media respectively. In this way, a high-definition television system video signal can be displayed on a plurality of ordinary television receivers without losing the high-definition television system picture quality.

摘要： A form-fill-seal type packaging machine pulls an elongated film out of a film roll, directs it to a former to roll the film into a cylindrical form and produces bags by longitudinally sealing the overlapping side edges of the film and transversely sealing the tubular film at top and bottom positions. A roller-like film-guiding piece normally disposed adjacent to the former is on a slidable base plate so as to be retractable away from the former for the convenience of the operator when the film is initially set or when the former is replaced by another one. The slidable plate can be automatically stopped at its normal position adjacent to the former by detecting the extension of the former by a sensor. A device for straightening the film undergoing a zigzag motion is also supported by this slidable plate and hence can be retracted away from the former.

摘要： A partial painting method suitable for partially painting a workpiece or article of a complex surface shape. A surface of the workpiece is coated with strippable paint. The coated strippable paint is dried into a strippable film on the workpiece surface. A laser beam is applied to the strippable film along a prescribed cutting line so as to cut the strippable film. A portion of the strippable film corresponding to a first area of the workpiece surface to be painted is peeled off, while the remaining portion of the strippable film is left adhering on a second area of the workpiece surface to remain unpainted, and thereby masking of the workpiece is completed. The first area is then painted with a paint to form a final paint coating. The strippable paint contains powder, such as of graphite, having a substantially high light energy absorptivity, so that the strippable film can reliably be cut by the laser beam without damaging the surface of the workpiece which may be molded of synthetic resin that is relatively soft and is easily softened when heat is applied.
