摘要: The invention provides a method of manufacturing a pouch for holding therein a liquid, comprising providing a front and back layer, locally bonding them together to create an inner space, forming a pour channel, by locally bonding the layers together to form bonds defining boundaries of the pour channel, wherein the forming of the pour channel is carried out by providing a heating device having a plurality of heating elements arranged in a grid-like manner, forming a heating surface, each of the heating elements being individually operable, operating the heating device such that heating elements which are required for creating the boundaries are operated and thereby heated, and bringing the heating surface into contact with the front layer or back layer, so as to locally bond together the front layer and the back layer so as to form the bonds defining the boundaries of the pour channel.

The package can include a film with a closure applied to the film. The flexible package can include a film having a closure device applied to the film transverse to the first and second side edges of the film, with the first side edge portion extending into the fin seal such that at least a portion of the first side edge portion eliminates an air gap between the fin or lap seal and at least one of the first and second side edge portions.

摘要: A sensorless temperature sensing and control system and method uses electrical voltage and current feedback signals to monitor and control the temperature of heating elements used in a heat sealing process wherein sensors are not physically connected to a heat seal bar during the heat sealing process. After calibration of a heat seal bar using a sensor, voltage and current feedback signals are processed by a programmable logic controller (PLC) to calculate the real-time electrical resistance of each heating element. Data and electrical resistance is used to calculate real-time temperature of the heat seal bar during heating.

摘要: A machine and method for making bags is described and includes a web traveling from an input section to a rotary drum, to an output section. The rotary drum includes at least one seal bar, having a first sealing zone, and an adjacent weakening zone. The weakening zone may be a heated perforator, includes a heating wire, or be disposed to create an auxiliary sealed area. The heating wire can have connected thereto, a source of power that is an adjustable voltage or magnitude, and/or pulsed, and/or a feedback loop. The heating wire ay be an NiCr wire and make intermittent contact with the web and be disposed in an insert. The weakening zone may create a line of weakness that is uniform or varies in intensity, is a separating zone, or includes a heat film, a toothed blade, a row of pins, a source of air, or a source of vacuum. The sealing zones ma include temperature zones, cartridge heaters, cooling air, or hated air, or a source of ultrasonic, microwave or radiative energy.

摘要: The present invention relates to a sealing device (1, 101, 201) for sealing a packaging material (7, 107) enclosing a filling material (29) to provide portion-packed oral pouched snuff products (43). The sealing device comprises an anvil (3, 103, 203) with a first operation surface (11, 111, 211) and a sonotrode (5, 105, 205) with a second operation surface (13, 113), the anvil and the sonotrode being arranged to allow passage of the packaging material therebetween, the second operation surface being located opposite the first operation surface during operation of the sealing device. The first and second operation surfaces are arranged to weld a first portion (7a, 107a) of the packaging material to a second portion (7b, 107b) of the packaging material. At least one of the first or second operation surfaces comprises a first welding surface (11a, 111a) defining a first extension plane and a second welding surface (11b, 111b) defining a second extension plane, which has a different orientation than the first extension plane. The first and second welding surfaces are partly delimited by a cutting edge (15, 115, 215) having an extension direction along the first and second welding surfaces, such that the cutting edge separates the first welding surface from the second welding surface. The present invention further relates to an arrangement (19) for manufacturing of portion-packed oral pouched snuff products, which arrangement comprises such a sealing device. The present invention also relates to a method for portion-packing of an oral pouched snuff product.
