摘要: A method for repairing pipes laid underground, such as gas pipes, consisting of a main supply pipe from which numerous distribution pipes branch off to supply the individual users, the method using resin to repair the main supply pipe and the distribution pipes from the inside while in their buried state.The repair method of this invention is characterized by the fact that, having repaired the main supply pipe and the distribution pipe in successive operations, whether the repairs to the main supply pipe and the distribution pipes have been done properly or not can be confirmed on completion of the repairs by carrying out sealage tests on the distribution pipes and the main supply pipe.

摘要: This device comprises a cylindrical member integrally made of an elastic material for covering the inside periphery of a pipe joint, belt members impregnated with a bonding agent to be squeezed out by pressure, and circular expanding members for expanding said cylindrical member when positioned inside the cylindrical member and subsequently expanded. The respective belt members are wound around the outside peripheral surface of the cylindrical member at its longitudinal ends and the respective expanding members are brought into contact with the inside peripheral surface of the cylindrical member at both its longitudinal ends, so that by radially expanding the cylindrical member at both its longitudinal ends by the respective expanding members, the respective belt members are pressed against the inside peripheral portions of the pipes on both sides of the joint for squeezing out the bonding agent from the belt members by such pressure and thereby attaining an airtight and watertight bonding between the outside peripheral surface of the cylindrical member at both its longitudinal ends and the inside peripheral surfaces of the pipes.

摘要: A pig for repairing interior portions of a pipeline with resin. The pig has a cylindrical portion diameter of which is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the pipeline so as to allow the moving of the pig in the pipeline.A pair of introduction portions are formed by slanting rear portions of the cylindrical portion.A pair of discharge grooves are axially formed in the cylindrical portion. The discharge grooves are overlapped with the introduction portions interposing periphery portions of the cylindrical portion and opened to the front of the cylindrical portion. Thus the resin in the rear side of the pig can be discharged to the front side passing through the periphery portions and discharge grooves.

摘要: A system for repairing joints in pipes laid underground, such as gas pipes, in their buried state, from their inside, to ensure their sealing.The system, in the process of pushing the resin used for repairing along the inside of the pipes by the pig, is to fill and seal the sealing material with the resin through gaps in numerous pipe joints inside of the pipes. In order to guarantee insertion of resin into gaps in the pipe joints (sealing material) whether or not the pipe joint has developed a leak, the system comprises a substitution pig, and a means whereby the pig pushes the resin placed ahead of it along the pipe, and further, a means whereby the filling amount of the resin does not change even if the amount of resin present in front of the pig differs between the early and later stages of the repairing operation, gaps in the pipe joints will be uniformly filled.
