    摘要： In an image forming apparatus for forming an image by scanning a rotating photosensitive member with modulated light based on an image signal, a PLL circuit generates a high-frequency clock having a frequency n (n is an integer that satisfies n>2) times that of an oscillation output from a reference oscillating circuit. A frequency dividing circuit generates an image processing clock synchronized with the high-frequency clock and a detection signal from a scan light detecting mechanism. A latch circuit, a parallel/serial conversion circuit, and the like generate an image modulating signal by modulating image data on the basis of the high-frequency clock.

    摘要： An image processor includes an input device for inputting image signals, and a correcting device for correcting the image signals. A generating device generates a pulse-width modulation signal responsive to an image signal corrected by the correcting device, and a light emitting device emits light on the basis of the pulse-width modulation signal. A detecting device detects the pulse width of light emitted from the light emitting device, and a setting device sets correction conditions of the correcting device on the basis of the pulse width detected by the detecting device when a predetermined signal is supplied to the generating device.
