    摘要: Printing papers with reduced discoloration are obtained by using a pulp with improved discoloration. Printing papers with remarkably improved discoloration can be obtained by including a pulp consisting of one member or a mixed pulp of two or more members of bleached or unbleached mechanical pulps, semichemical pulps, chemical pulps and deinked pulps irradiated with UV and/or visible light in the presence of at least one additive selected from the group consisting of reducing agents, oxidizing agents and hydrogen-donating organic compounds.

    摘要: The present invention aims to provide a method for improving discoloration in pulp, characterized by a versatile technique adaptable to any type of pulp, a time-saving process, a great and permanent anti-fading effect, environmental friendliness and other properties, as well as a pulp with greatly improved discoloration obtained by said method for improving discoloration. Discoloration in pulp can be greatly improved by adding one or more additives selected from the group consisting of reducing agents, peroxides and hydrogen-donating organic compounds to one of bleached mechanical pulp, semi-chemical pulps, chemical pulp and deinked pulps or a mixture of two or more of them, and irradiating it with UV and/or visible light.

    摘要: A matter to be treated which contains a cellulosic polymer is heated in a solvent in the presence of an acid catalyst, to thereby selectively decompose the cellulosic polymer to a fine powder. Furthermore, a matter to be treated which contains a cellulosic polymer is reacted with an esterification agent in the presence of an acid catalyst, to thereby selectively dissolve or disperse the cellulosic polymer. In either method, the treated matter other than the cellulosic polymer does not change in state but remains solid, so that both can be easily separated by sieving or solid-liquid separation.
