摘要: A printing apparatus includes a printing unit, a communication unit which receives a print job that requires user authentication, a RAM which stores the print job received by the communication unit, and a user interface which is operated to input authentication information with respect to the print job stored in the RAM. The apparatus includes a processor unit which detects a non-printable error that occurs in the printing unit during execution of the print job, sets treatment of the print job interrupted due to the error, performs the user authentication on the basis of the authentication information input by using the user interface for execution of the print job stored in the RAM, executes the print job when the user authentication is successful, and performs a process of subjecting the print job to the set treatment when the non-printable error is detected during the execution of the print job.

摘要: According to an embodiment of the invention, a revolver unit is rotationally driven by using three stepping motors. The weight of developing cartridges loaded on the revolver unit is identified on the basis of the quantity of remaining toner in toner cartridges. At the time of rotationally driving the revolver unit, output timing of the stepping motor closer to the developing cartridge which has a large quantity of remaining toner and has a heavy weight is made earlier, and output timing of the stepping motor far from this developing cartridge is delayed.

摘要: There are provided a solid oxide fuel cell system comprising (a) a solid oxide fuel cell stack, (b) a preliminary reformer for removing hydrocarbons having two or more carbon atoms from a hydrocarbon fuel by converting the hydrocarbons having two or more carbon atoms into methane, hydrogen, and carbon monoxide, and (c) an integrated heat exchanger for catalytic combustion for heating either air or fuel, or both the air and fuel, to be guided to the solid oxide fuel cell stack, by use of a combustion gas formed by combusting discharged fuel with the use of discharged air, wherein component equipment described above are disposed in an adiabatic vessel and the integrated heat exchanger for catalytic combustion for use in the solid oxide fuel cell system. With the invention, an advantage of the preliminary reformer in combination with that of the integrated heat exchanger for catalytic combustion can be obtained, and heat loss of the SOFC system is eliminated or reduced as much as possible. In addition, with the integrated heat exchanger for catalytic combustion according to the invention, since air and/or fuel, to be fed to the SOFC stack, can be heated by controlling the maximum temperature achieved thereof, it is quite useful as an heat exchanger for an SOFC with operation temperature on the order of 850° C. or lower, particularly, for a supported membrane type SOFC, and further, the same is quite useful in making up an SOFC system because an inexpensive material can be used as a constituent material of a component equipment of the system, the system in whole can be reduced in size, and so forth.

摘要: The coarse/fine adjustment coaxial handle for feeding microscope stage comprises a feed screw shaft, a tubular member rotatably fitted over the feed screw shaft and equipped with a disc plate fixed thereto, a fine adjustment handle rotatably fitted over the tubular member and surrounding the disc plate, a reduction gear mechanism interposed between the feed screw shaft and the fine adjustment knob, a first frictional resistance imparting mechanism for imparting frictional resistance to the tubular member, second frictional resistance imparting mechanism for imparting frictional resistance to the disc plate, and a coarse adjustment handle pivoted to an eccentric position on another disc plate connected to the disc plate. The coarse/fine adjustment coaxial handle permits very fine stage feeding without fail and coarse adjustment smoothly with simple operations.
