摘要: A large output discharge lamp comprising rod-like electrodes having confronting ends defining therebetween the discharge gap and being disposed in a bulb body. The other ends of the electrodes extend sealingly into two oppositely extending side tube which are integrally formed with the bulb body. Molybdenum foils are connected respectively with the electrodes and disposed and sealed respectively in the side tubes. Flexible metal pieces are respectively connected with the molybdenum foils and are disposed in the side tubes and outwards of the molydenum foils. Lead rods are connected respectively with the flexible metal pieces through molybdenum cups and disposed in the side tubes. The outer end portions of the side tubes are sealed and bases are respectively mounted thereon which are connected to the lead rods respectively.

摘要: An image exposure apparatus has a width direction moving unit including: a moving member moved by a driving motor in the width direction of the printing plate; a pressurizing unit for enabling the conveying pin supported by the moving member in a direction of the printing plate; a plurality of pin position detecting sensors for detecting a moving position of the conveying pin wherein the moving member moves forward in the direction of the printing plate and the conveying pin is moved by coming into contact with the width direction edge of the printing plate; and a control unit having an input unit for entering a sort of the printing plate. The control unit stops the driving motor in accordance with a detection signal from the pin position detection sensor associated with the sort of the printing plate entered through the input unit of the pin position detecting sensors.

摘要: A thermal development sheet cooling method including a first cooling step of employing, at a temperature lower than a development temperature, a rotary member pair to sandwich and feed a thermal development sheet to suppress further development progression; a second cooling step of feeding the thermal development sheet in a non-contact state a predetermined distance through the air at a temperature lower than the temperature of the rotary member pair, thereby cooling the thermal development sheet while the inherent weight thereof induces curling; and a third cooling step of feeding the declined thermal development sheet while in contact with a guide member, and of cooling the thermal development sheet to a temperature equal to or lower than a softening point temperature of a sheet support member, while correcting the curled shape of the sheet.

摘要: A particle dispersion supply apparatus includes a roller, an ejection device and a particle dispersion permeation member. The roller rotates in a prescribed direction and touches an image formation face of a recording medium being conveyed by a conveyance body. The ejection device is disposed to oppose the roller at a roller rotation direction upstream side relative to the position at which the roller touches the image formation face of the recording medium, and ejects a particle dispersion in which numerous particles are dispersed in a liquid. The particle dispersion permeation member is disposed so as to be interposed between the ejection device and the roller and so as to contact the roller. The particle dispersion permeation member retains the particle dispersion and the particle dispersion can permeate therethrough.

摘要: A method for assembling a laser apparatus which condenses a laser beam and couples the laser beam to an optical fiber. 摘要: A heat treatment apparatus includes rollers that slide and move an image recording sheet on the surface of a heating member while pressing at least a portion of the sheet against the surface of the heating member. The temperature of a dummy unit, provided at a position adjacent to the rollers, is measured by a temperature sensor. The measured temperature has a relationship with a change in the temperature of the rollers. Temperature control is performed based on the measured temperature in order to adjust the temperature of the rollers. A cushion disposed on a surface of the heating member is arranged to moderate the pressure which is exerted by the rollers on the sheet. A pulling mechanism provides a tension to the cushion, which is detachable from the heating member.

摘要: Disclosed is an image recording apparatus configured with: a first camera, mounted via a movement adjusting mechanism on one face side portion of a base member of an alignment unit for capturing a first mark provided on a recording medium; and a second camera, mounted via a movement adjusting mechanism on the other face side portion of the base member of the alignment unit for capturing the position of a second mark for positioning that, relative to the direction along the conveying direction, has been shifted by a predetermined small distance in the direction orthogonal to the conveying direction relative to the first mark provided on the recording medium. Further, an alignment unit that may be used in the apparatus is disclosed.

摘要: A sheet member positioning device includes a plate on which a sheet member is loaded; a reference member provided at a side, in a first direction, of the plate, the sheet member being able to abut the reference member; a conveying member provided at a side, in a second direction, of the plate, and due to the conveying member being moved toward the side in the first direction and conveying the sheet member, the conveying member makes the sheet member abut the reference member so as to determine a position of the sheet member in the first direction; and a detecting mechanism which, at a time when the position of the sheet member in the first direction is determined, detects a distance between the reference member and the conveying member, and detects a size of the sheet member on the basis of the detected distance.

When positioning the printing plate, a position at which the printing plate abuts the pair of positioning pins and a reference pin, and a position at which the printing plate abuts the pair of positioning pins and the reference pin at a time of positioning in the exposure section, substantially coincide.
