    摘要: A hand-held control device comprises a casing (1) having a plurality of operating switches (21) and a cut hole (3) in front face thereof, a transparent window (5) fitted in the cut hole (3) of the casing (1), a printed circuit board (6) accommodated in the casing (1) and connected to the operating switches (21), a crystal liquid display plate (7) disposed near the window (5) of the casing (1) and connected to the printed circuit board (6) through a connector (8), the crystal liquid display plate (7) being fixed with a mounting member (10) so as to the connector (8) is sandwiched between the mounting member (10) and the printed circuit board (6), and an upper cover (17) and a lower cover (14) for holding the printed circuit board (6) through the buffer member (10). Accordingly, even when an impact is applied onto the casing (1), the liquid crystal display plate (7) is less affected thereby, and therefore the contents of display can be surely displayed on the liquid crystal display plate (7).

    摘要: A housing including a base and cover has an open space that is open to the atmosphere and a closed space that is closed to the atmosphere. The open space contains a laser having a low operating temperature. The closed space contains a heat generating element and the like, which have higher operating temperatures than the laser. The heat generating element is in close contact with the base, which also serves as a heatsink, so that the heat generating element is cooled. Most parts of a motor, which is a heat generating member, are disposed in the closed space. A fan is diagonally disposed with respect to side surfaces of the heat generating element, which has a rectangular shape and flat side surfaces, so as to efficiently blow air toward the heat generating element disposed in the closed space.

Since this portable controller is securely turned OFF even if operator tightly grips the portable controller in the panic state based on runaway, etc. of robot, an extremely safety portable controller for robot of the fail-safe type can be provided.

When a magnetic pole pitch of the linear section of the stator is a distance λm and a magnetic pole pitch of the circular arc section of the stator is an angle γm, a radius r of the circular arc track at the position detection point is defined as r=λm/γm.
