摘要： A light source device includes a first light-source unit, a second light-source unit, and a third light-source unit emitting light of spectra different from each other. Each of the first through third light-source units includes a heat dissipator and a light source. The light source includes a light emitting device. The heat dissipators of the first through third light-source units are disposed in an ascending order of values of T/Q of the first through third light-source units, in a direction of cooling air flow. “Q” represents a heat generation amount from the light source of each of the first through third light-source units, when the light sources are driven to obtain predetermined light intensity and lifespan. “T” represents a preset, upper-limit temperature for the light emitting device of each of the first through third light-source units to obtain the predetermined light intensity and lifespan.

The projection lens unit holds a projection lens on which a projection image generated by an image generating device is incident. The projection optical element guides the projection image, which has passed through the projection lens, to a projection surface. The optical housing is attached with the image generating device. The holder is attached to the optical housing. The holder holds the projection lens unit and the projection optical element. The mover relatively moves the holder with respect to the optical housing in an incident direction in which the projection image is incident on the projection lens.

The wind guiding walls are arranged side by side in a rotation axis direction of the exhaust fan. At least a downstream portion of each of the wind guiding walls in an air flowing direction after cooling the light source, is gradually inclined so as to move away from the exhaust fan in the rotation axis direction of the exhaust fan, toward downstream in the air flowing direction.

摘要： An image projector includes a first housing, a second housing, a power transmitter, and a heat transporter. The first housing includes a light source to emit light, an image display to form an image with the light from the light source, an illumination optical device to direct the light from the light source to the image display, and a projection optical device to project the image. The second housing includes a power source to supply power, a heat dissipator to dissipate heat, and a cooler to exhaust the heat to an outside of the image projector. The power transmitter couples the first housing and the second housing to each other to transmit the power from the second housing to the first housing. The heat transporter couples the first housing and the second housing to each other to transport heat from the first housing to the second housing.
