    摘要: An eye examination apparatus 100 of the present invention comprises, a refractive power measuring section 50 for measuring refractive powers of subject eyes E of a subject in a binocular viewing state, an eye chart presenting section 30 for presenting a subjective measurement eye chart to be observed by the subject, a correcting section 40 for correcting the subject eyes by referring to data on the refractive powers measured with the refractive power measuring section 50 and using the subjective measurement eye chart presented in the eye chart presenting section 30 and an optical characteristics measuring section 10 for subjectively measuring an optical characteristic of the subject eyes E corrected or being corrected with the correcting section 40 in a state where the subject is binocularly viewing the subjective measurement eye chart.

    摘要: There is provided a Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor which can repetitively perform a measurement at high speed and at short measurement intervals. An illuminating optical system includes a first polarizing optical member to alternately change a polarization condition to a first polarized light or a second polarized light, and illuminates a pulse light from a laser light source part to an ocular fundus of a subject eye through a first polarizing optical member. A light receiving optical system includes a second polarizing optical member to select each polarized light component of the reflected light from the subject eye illuminated according to the polarization condition of the first polarizing optical member, and a first and a second light receiving parts to alternately receive the reflected light of the selected polarized light component. An ophthalmologic measuring apparatus measures the wavefront aberration of the subject eye at short intervals based on the output of the first and the second light receiving parts.

    摘要: One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a tissue imaging device that includes a catheter body, a hood, and a visualization assembly. The catheter body includes a distal end portion, a proximal end portion, and at least one lumen extending between the distal and proximal end portions. The catheter body includes at least one drainage port having a first opening and at least one infusion port having a second opening. The first and second openings are located about a lateral aspect of the catheter body. The hood projects distally from the distal end portion and is configured to self-expand into an expanded deployment state that defines an open area therein. The visualization assembly is disposed within the open area and extends distally from the distal end portion of the catheter body.

    摘要: Treatment of heart failure in a patient by electrically modulating both the sympathetic and parasympathetic autonomic cardiac nerve fibers that innervate the patient's heart at an extravascular site in the pericardial space of the heart. The extravascular site is any suitable single location inside the chest cavity that carries both sympathetic and parasympathetic cardiac nerves such as the cardiac plexus or the pericardial transverse sinus or any two separate extravascular sites with one site carrying predominantly sympathetic cardiac nerves and the other site carrying predominantly parasympathetic cardiac nerves for electrically modulating the balance of autonomic cardiac nerve control. Physiologic inputs from a neuromodulation system's own sensors or from separate implanted or external cardiovascular hemodynamic sensor systems can be used for closed loop control over the balance of sympathetic and parasympathetic cardiac autonomic effects on the patient's cardiac function in real time response to chronic and transient physiologic needs.
