摘要: In a case where it is determined that communication data indicates a first data attribute in a transmitter, that communication data is transmitted and an acknowledgement signal is requested to be sent back from a receiver. If the acknowledgement signal is not sent back, that communication data is retransmitted. In a case where it is determined that the communication data indicates a second data attribute in the transmitter, that communication data is transmitted and an acknowledgement signal is requested to be sent back according to an allowable number of retransmissions corresponding to the second data attribute. And that communication data is retransmitted in accordance with the allowable number of retransmissions and presence or absence of the acknowledgement signal sent back. The allowable number of retransmissions corresponding to the second data attribute is smaller than that corresponding to the first data attribute.

摘要: A wireless communications system includes: a first communications processing section for implementing a dedicated communications function that is only for the first wireless communications scheme; a second communications processing section for implementing a dedicated communications function that is only for the second wireless communications scheme; a shared transceiver section shared by the first communications processing section and the second communications processing section; a scheme selection section for selectively inputting a signal from the first communications processing section or a signal from the second communications processing section to the shared transceiver section; and a communications switching control section for indicating, to the scheme selection section, a scheme to be selected. The communications switching control section determines a switching timing based on frame and sub-frame information from the first communications processing section in an operation of switching from the first wireless communications scheme to the second wireless communications scheme or an operation of searching for a communications target station using the second wireless communications scheme.

摘要: Provided is a network chip that controls issuance of interrupts based on the contents of the received packets. The network chip receives a data packet containing a type that indicates a realtime packet or a not-realtime packet, where the realtime packet needs consideration of delay time, and the not-realtime packet does not need consideration of delay time. The network chip obtains a type by analyzing the received packet. When the obtained type indicates a realtime packet, the network chip stores the received packet into a realtime reception packet buffer, and issues an interrupt to the CPU immediately; and when the obtained type indicates a not-realtime packet, it stores the received packet into a not-realtime reception packet buffer, and issues an interrupt to the CPU after a predetermined time period passes, or after the number of packets stored in the not-realtime reception packet buffer reaches a predetermined number.

摘要: Prior to detection of a start of a session having periodicity in a wireless terminal, the wireless terminal powers on a communication unit that performs wireless communication with a wireless base station, in accordance with a reception timing of receiving a beacon signal once in several times and a generation timing of transmission packets of sessions. After the start of a session having periodicity has been detected in the wireless terminal, the communication unit is only powered on when transmission packets of sessions having periodicity are generated.

摘要: From the individual small areas of a conductor pattern arranged on the back side of a circuit board, there are individually extended leader patterns, which are midway led by through holes to the surface side of the circuit board. The individual leader patterns led to the surface side are connected with a terminal portion on the low-voltage side through jumper pads. The desired small areas are enabled to function by shorting the jumper pads with solder. The individual small areas are constituted to have a capacity of 1 pF, when caused to function, and they have such a capacity as a pattern capacitor as is proportional to the number of the shorted jumper pads.

摘要: An inverter circuit is configured with a reduced number of components for driving a plurality of discharge tubes. Primary coils of a plurality of drive transformers are respectively connected in series to primary coils of corresponding balancer-transformers, and then connected between output terminals of a switching circuit in parallel. The secondary coils of the balancer-transformers are connected in series, and connected between the output terminals of the switching circuit to configure an inverter circuit for driving a plurality of discharge tubes. The inverter circuit includes a voltage detecting circuit for detecting a voltage at any of connecting-midpoint of the series-connected secondary coils of the balancer-transformers, and a voltage comparing circuit for comparing an output of the voltage detecting circuit with a reference voltage. A signal designates an abnormal operation at an output of the voltage comparing circuit when the voltage of the connecting-midpoint exceeds the reference voltage.
