摘要: A gasket-squeeze construction wherein a warp-limiter member is installed in a bolt hole in which a fastening bolt fits. The warp-limiter member is made less in an amount of flex than confronting surfaces, between which the gasket is disposed and squeezed by the tightening of the fastening bolt. The warp-limiter member serves to make the sealing stress uniform around a combustion gas hole. The warp-limiter member installed in the bolt hole, because of tougher to flex than the confronting surfaces when tightening the fastening bolt, makes uniform the clamping force of the fastening bolt and the compressive stress created around the associated bolt hole, moreover dispersing uniformly the sealing stress throughout around the combustion gas hole such as a cylinder bore, thereby rendering variation in distortion in the sealing joint less to improve the sealing performance.

摘要: A monolayer metal gasket is disclosed, which may be kept against deformation around a bolt hole and further made stable in sealing stress around a gas hole between mating surfaces of confronting components. A first extra thickness around the gas hole is provided by turning back a part of a metallic sheet on a major flat of the metallic sheet, with leaving a space open between them to form a folded construction having elasticity. A second extra thickness around a bolt hole is a closely layered construction of nearly rigid body little to be deformed. When the monolayer metal gasket is squeezed between the mating surfaces of the confronting components, a clearance between the mating surfaces may be regulated to a preselected distance by virtue of the second extra thickness that is little to be deformed.

摘要: In a metallic gasket having a metallic sheet made with a recess surrounding around a diverse type of hole, in which an elastic sealing member is installed, a relation between the recess and the elastic sealing member in their cross sections and also configurations is so specified as to use the elastic sealing member within a range of elastic limit inherent in the elastic sealing member, thereby improving the sealing performance of the metallic gasket. The elastic sealing member is smaller than the recess in their cross section perpendicular to the major side of the metallic sheet. Thus, the elastic sealing member, when the metallic gasket is squeezed, may serve its useful function within the range of inherent elastic limit.

摘要: A metal gasket is described which has a structure with no beads so that the need for dies used for molding is eliminated, thereby facilitating the processing of the gasket and achieving good cost performance, and which is excellent in sealing ability. The metal gasket comprises (i) an elastic metal plate having a base and folded-back portions each of which is formed so as to create a clearance together with the base and disposed so as to extend around a bore hole and (ii) a metal plate which is thicker than the elastic metal plate and has lower level portions each of which is located at a position closed to each bore hole, and the elastic metal plate and the metal plate are laminated such that each folded-back portion of the elastic metal plate faces the lower level portion of the metal plate.

摘要: A metallic gasket installed between confronting surfaces of engine components is improved in heat conduction between the components so as to reduce the adverse thermal influence to the engine. The metallic gasket used between the confronting surfaces of, for example a cylinder head and a cylinder block is composed of an annular raised portion defining inside a gas hole in alignment with an associated cylinder bore, and a surrounding metallic sheet connected to the annular raised portion. Both the annular raised portion and the surrounding metallic sheet are made of aluminum material to render the heat conduction between the components efficient. Thus the improved gasket can reduce the adverse thermal influence such as thermal deformation, thermal stress, and so on, whether the components are made of different materials or same materials.

摘要: A laminated gasket is provided, which ensures desired bore sealing surface pressures on the side of a cylinder head and on the side of a cylinder block, which is excellent in sealing ability and durability preferably by virtue of its double sealing function and which has a comparatively simple structure. This gasket has a core plate and elastic plates laminated to both surfaces of the core plate. The core plate has thin-walled portions each surrounding a bore opening and a thick-walled portion extending outwardly from each thin-walled portion. The elastic plates respectively have folded-back portions each of which is formed so as to create, together with a base portion, a clearance around its associated bore opening.

摘要: A tape printer includes a holder support member at one side end in a roll sheet holder storage part in a direction substantially perpendicular to a feeding direction. In the holder support member, a mounting piece which is substantially rectangular in section and formed protruding outward on a positioning holding member of a roll sheet holder is fitted. The tape printer further includes a flat portion formed substantially horizontally between a rear edge of an insertion opening through which a roll sheet is inserted into the tape printer. On the flat portion, a front portion of a guide member is placed. At a rear edge of the flat portion in the feeding direction, at plural positions corresponding to various kinds of the roll sheets having different widths, there are formed four second positioning grooves in which part of the guide member is fitted.
