    摘要: According to one aspect, a device for assisting in removing an implanted lead is provided. The device comprises a body portion having a center adapted to accommodate the lead, a cutting component coupled to the body portion to assist in separating tissue from the lead, and at least one anchoring component disposed at least partially within the body portion, the at least one anchoring component capable of providing pressure on the lead that resists movement of at least part of the body portion along the lead at least in part by applying fluid pressure.

The tubular member exhibits a proximal end (100) and a distal end (110), the distal end arranged to extend to within the inner region of an annulus. Inter-annulus support members (30) are arranged radially about the tubular member, and connected proximally of the distal end, thus defining an axial support member (120) between the connection to the tubular member and the distal end. Proximal securing members are further provided arranged radially about the tubular member and removed proximally from the connection point of the inter-annulus support members. The inter-annulus support members are connected to the axial support member such that ejection forces are opposed by a concavingly curved link member between the axial support member and the inter-annulus support members.

    摘要: The device of the present invention provides satisfactory and comfortable three-dimensional spatial holding of an injured limb and allows for the spatial transition of the limb from position to position in accordance with the surgeon's requirements comfortably, easily and within a short time period. Further, the device enables the temporary affixing of fragments of fracture appositionally from before the patient is put into the ambulance, up to the moment the patient reaches the operating theater and even onto the operating table if necessary. It provides a situation allowing a dynamic follow-up of the status of an injured limb up to arriving in the operating theatre and determining decisions on the basis of observation such as for example, but not limited to, swelling, ischemia and development of pressure in the limb's compartment.
