摘要: A method or system for selecting or pruning applicable verbal commands associated with speech recognition based on a user's motions detected from a depth camera. Depending on the depth of the user's hand or arm, the context of the verbal command is determined and verbal commands corresponding to the determined context are selected. Speech recognition is then performed on an audio signal using the selected verbal commands. By using an appropriate set of verbal commands, the accuracy of the speech recognition is increased.

摘要: A three-dimensional virtual-touch human-machine interface system (20) and a method (100) of operating the system (20) are presented. The system (20) incorporates a three-dimensional time-of-flight sensor (22), a three-dimensional autostereoscopic display (24), and a computer (26) coupled to the sensor (22) and the display (24). The sensor (22) detects a user object (40) within a three-dimensional sensor space (28). The display (24) displays an image (42) within a three-dimensional display space (32). The computer (26) maps a position of the user object (40) within an interactive volumetric field (36) mutually within the sensor space (28) and the display space (32), and determines when the positions of the user object (40) and the image (42) are substantially coincident. Upon detection of coincidence, the computer (26) executes a function programmed for the image (42).

摘要: The present disclosure is intended to describe embodiments for improving image data acquisition and processing in accelerated dynamic magnetic resonance imaging sequences. One embodiment is described where a method includes an acquisition sequence configured to acquire an undersampled set of magnetic resonance data. The undersampled set of magnetic resonance data has a pseudo-random sampling pattern within a data space acquired at a first time, the pseudo-random sampling pattern being influenced by other pseudo-random sampling patterns within the data space arising from the acquisition of additional undersampled sets of magnetic resonance data at respective times. In some embodiments, the pseudo-random sampling patterns of the undersampled sets of magnetic resonance data interleave to yield a desired sampling pattern.

摘要: A method supporting work processes involving activities such as generation, alteration and authentication of documents. For each activity, the relationship between that activity and each other activity is defined in terms of at least one dependency from a plurality of dependencies. Each activity has a plurality of possible independent user and system states, for example three for the user states and three for the system states. The independence of the user and system states improves flexibility by introducing a mechanism to support reasoning over the process flow, so that discrepancies can be used to maintain a record of any mismatch.

摘要: A combination of a dual wheel for a vehicle and clamping nuts for securing this wheel to studs on a wheel hub including inner and outer wheel assemblies having respectively inner and outer metal wheels. Each wheel includes a wheel disk having a number of stud-receiving holes of predetermined length. Each nut has a central, threaded passageway, wrenching surfaces formed on a head portion, and an integral, cylindrical skirt portion which has an outer diameter slightly less than the diameter of the holes in the outer metal wheel. A washer is rotatably mounted on each nut and has an outer side engaging an inner end of the head portion. During use of the nuts and the washers, a section of each skirt portion projects only into a respective one of the holes formed in the wheel disc of the outer wheel. The length of this section is equal to or less than the length of the holes in the outer wheel.
