    摘要: To realize a mechanism that can support an article at a desired position in such a way as to be able to move the article, with a thin, simple configuration.A load support mechanism 1 includes a fixed support section 2, which includes a fixed cam 8; a movable support section 3, which receives a load and can move vertically; a horizontal cam groove 13, which is provided in the movable support section; a cam follower member 15, which can move horizontally along the cam groove; a first spring 4, which is mounted between the fixed support section and the movable support section to support a load; and a second spring 18, which pushes the cam follower member horizontally and presses the cam follower member against a fixed cam surface 9 of the fixed cam. A reaction force of the fixed cam against the cam follower contains a vertical component depending on a height position of the movable support section, and the vertical component assists or reduces the spring's force to push up the load. A cam shape of the fixed cam surface is provided in such a way that the load acting around the cam follower, the spring forces of the first and second springs, and the reaction force applied from the fixed cam are balanced against each other.

The second conveyance path includes a first guide path located at a downstream side relative to the folding roller device and guiding a rear side of the sheet, and a second guide path located at an upstream side relative to the folding roller device and guiding a front side of the folded sheet conveyed from the folding roller device. A gate is formed for selectively guiding the folded sheet from the second guide path to the storage device or the sheet discharge path.

The first and second stopper devices are respectively disposed downstream and upstream of the sheet conveyance path relative to the folding roller device. The first stopper device positions and aligns a leading edge of the sheet, and guides the sheet conveyed by the first conveyance device to the folding roller device, and the second stopper device positions and aligns a trailing edge of the sheet, and transfers the sheet reversely by the second conveyance device to the folding roller device.

    摘要: A sorter for receiving sheets supplied from a sheet supply machine is formed of a sheet distributing section for distributing sheets supplied from the sheet supply machine, a plurality of bins situated near the sheet distributing section for receiving the sheets from the sheet distributing section, and a positioning device for positioning the bins to a home position, a sheet receiving position and a sheet taking position. The bins are arranged adjacent to each other and are movable relative to the sheet distributing section. The home position is located at one side of the sheet distributing section, wherein the bins are stacked adjacent to each other with a distance (L1) away from each other. All the bins may be located in the home position. The sheet receiving position faces the sheet distributing section to receive the sheet onto the bin, wherein a sheet receiving bin except a top bin is situated away from a bin located above the sheet receiving bin with a distance (L2). The sheet taking position is located above the sheet receiving position, wherein the bins are stacked adjacent to each other with a distance (L3). The distance L3 is greater than the distance (L1), and less than the distance (L2).

    摘要: The present apparatus includes a placement tray to place sheets to undergo binding processing, and a press bind unit shifting along an end edge of sheets on the placement tray. The press bind unit includes a receiving tooth, and pressing teeth meshing with the receiving tooth to perform press binding on sheets nipped therebetween, and the pressing teeth are provided to shift between a press position for meshing with the receiving tooth, and a retract position spaced apart from the receiving tooth so as to shift the press bind unit along the end edge of sheets with the sheets disposed between the receiving tooth and the pressing teeth. By shifting the pressing teeth to the retract position, it is possible to shift the sheet bind apparatus smoothly along the end edge of a bunch of sheets with the sheets disposed between the receiving tooth and the pressing teeth.

The apparatus provides a simple and compact configuration for folding sheets, and a method of accurately folding sheets without destroying existing folds or forming wrinkles.
