摘要： Systems and methods relating to configuring a Secondary Component Carrier (SCC) for a wireless device in a cellular communications network are disclosed. In some embodiments, the method comprises obtaining capabilities of the wireless device, where the capabilities indicate a frequency band combination supported by the wireless device. The frequency band combination supported by the wireless device includes a first frequency band supported by a base station and the wireless device used for a Primary Cell (PCell) of the wireless device and a second frequency band supported by the wireless device but not supported by the base station. The method further comprises identifying an overlap between the second frequency band supported by the wireless device but not supported by the base station and a third frequency band supported by the base station but not supported by the wireless device and configuring the SCC for the wireless device in the overlap.
