摘要: A computer implemented method performed by a first node in a communications network for use in determining whether a channel between the first node and a target node is in use. The method includes selecting, from a plurality of other nodes that are suitable for making measurements on the channel, a subset of the other nodes from which to obtain channel information in order to determine whether the channel is in use. The selection is performed using a first model trained using a first machine learning process to select the subset of other nodes based on accuracy of the resulting determination of whether the channel is in use. The method then includes sending a message to cause the subset of other nodes to obtain the channel information.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for control of configured transmissions in a cellular communications system. A method performed by a wireless communication device includes receiving, from a base station, a configuration of a set of symbols for one or more configured transmissions and monitoring for a Downlink Control Information (DCI) that uses a particular DCI format. The method further includes, when the wireless communication device does not detect a DCI that uses the particular DCI format and either: (a) a semi-static Time Division Duplexing (TDD) configuration received by the wireless communication device indicates the set of symbols configured for the one or more configured transmissions as flexible or (b) the wireless communication device did not receive a semi-static TDD configuration, making a determination of whether the one or more configured transmissions are allowed to be transmitted or are received based on whether a parameter is configured.

摘要: Embodiments of a method performed by a wireless communication device for a cellular communications system are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving serving cell configurations for a configured serving cell(s) of the wireless communication device and receiving a Downlink Control Information (DCI) from a network node. The DCI includes a slot format combination indication(s) for a configured serving cell(s) of the wireless communication device, wherein each slot format combination indication is an indication of a slot format(s) for a slot(s) on at least one respective configured serving cell of the wireless communication device. The DCI further includes a Resource Block (RB) set indication(s) each including a bit(s) that indicate availability of a RB set(s) for at least one respective configured serving cell of the wireless communication device. The method further includes decoding the DCI based on the serving cell configurations.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for maintaining validity of a timing advance value in a wireless device operable in a wireless communication network. According to an embodiment, validity of a previously configured a TA value in a wireless device is determined by comparing the previously configured TA value to a threshold. The threshold may be based on an amount of time required for a radio signal to traverse a distance corresponding to the intended radius of a cell serving the wireless device. Alternatively, the TA validity may be determined based on a history of TA updates. Optionally, a previously configured TA value may be gradually ramped up or down until the wireless device receives an acknowledgment of successful receipt of an UL data transmission by the base station.
